I drove through the abandoned streets of Atlanta Georgia, heading straight into the city. It was a ghost town with cars being left at random, blood and dead bodies littering the streets with the odd Walker here and there. To be honest, I expected a lot more of those dead arsewholes to be wandering around but I'm almost positive that my RV will draw their attention at some point or another.

I decided to park my RV in the middle of the city, the tall buildings surrounding me and yet, not a single sound was heard except the odd grunt of the dead a good distance away. I decided on the drive there that being on a roof of a building will give me a better opportunity to scout out any people, who may or may not need help. So, I placed a notice-me-not on the RV and spelled it locked before transforming into one of my animagus forms, a Phoenix and took flight into the air. From the view above, I noticed a large number of walkers heading towards where I had previously stood, it seems my RV had caught their attention as I assumed.

"Nasty little shits" Mortem growled in my head, making me chirp in agreement, which sounds like a beautiful song. I flew towards a flat-top roof which looked down upon others that were lower. I transformed back into myself and knelt on my knees, using my Pheonix's sharp eyesight to look around. It wasn't long until movement caught my attention, a man on a horse riding through the hoard of walkers, getting trapped in the middle before being thrown off, resulting in the poor horse being eaten and the man having to take refuge in a tank.

"Poor horsey" I sighed sadly, having to watch the beautiful animal being slaughtered. I had always been fond of animals, especially magical creatures but in every home I've had, I made sure to also have some muggle ones. Horses are one of the main ones I adored.

"Hey, you there?" I heard from a distance, making me look around once again and that's when I spotted an Asian man with a walkie in his hand, looking over at the Tank. I listened to the conversation he was having with the trapped man, chuckling slightly at his sarcastic responses. I listened to them make a plan and watched as it worked out, though there were a few times I had almost jumped in due to the large crowd of walkers running after the man who was in the tank. He made it to the Asian man and managed to escape up a ladder before entering the building, leaving me to sigh in relief.

"Crazy bastards" I laughed, shaking my head before taking another look around. Suddenly, loud gunshots were heard from one of the rooftops below and I watched as a few walkers were gunned down. I looked at where the gunshots were coming from and saw a muscular man and short blonde hair, laughing as he caused more walkers to move towards their location. To be quite honest, I was impressed with his aim and knew from the look at him, he was either a hunter or worked with guns often.

"What the fuck is this moron doing?" I hissed out, watching as the outside of the building they resided swarmed with walkers. Suddenly, a group of people ran onto the rooftop, the two men from before included. They began to converse and I can see the hostility between the gunman and a few of the other members, though some seemed to be trying to calm the wild man down. It escalated quite quickly and before I knew it, the gunman was beating another man to a pulp before pointing a gun at him whilst the others were screaming.

"Too much testosterone in the air" I chuckled as I continued to watch. The man from the tank, who I realised was in a sheriff's uniform, struck the gunman over the head with a pipe and handcuffed him to a pole. After about an hour or so of them all conversing and watching out for walkers, the group, disappeared into the building, leaving the irate man still cuffed along with the now blooded figure who was slumped against the wall.

"These people aren't made for this shit" I sighed, shaking my head sadly at the hostility I witnessed between them. In dangerous situations, some people work extremely well together whilst others crumple under the pressure, which is understandable but after a while, they may completely break and that could cause people to lose their lives. I curse under my breath as I watch the glass of the storefront smash, allowing entrance for the walkers, though I let out a sigh of relief when I noticed they returned to the roof.
