Hey everyone! Sorry for the Short chapter but writer's block has striked again! I'm unsure of how to continue their journey until they go to Peverell manor or would you rather them go within the next few chapters?

The large pack gathered around the long transfigured wooden dining table, with comfortable leather seats around it. The table was filled with different kinds of hot dishes, from roast beef and chicken to different types of potatoes, cooked vegetables, gravies, Yorkshire puddings, pasta dishes and salads. Alcoholic beverages were placed in ice buckets on a smaller table to the side along with fruit juices for Carl and Sophia.

Sasha and Tyreese followed the loud chatter and laughter, only to find the large group waiting patiently for the two of them to arrive. They couldn't believe their eyes when they saw the cooked meals on the table, it was as though they arrived for Christmas dinner at their mamas.

"Oh! Here they are! Come and join us, we have been waiting" Rick called out cheerfully, a bright smile on his face as he gestured to the newcomers to take their seats. Tyreese being the more confident of the two, approached first and slowly sat beside Glenn, who smiled in greeting. Sasha was a little more unsure but the smell and look of the food were too much to turn down so, she quickly took her seat beside her brother and Shane.

"Great! Now, those who haven't been introduced already... our newcomers are named Sasha and Tyreese and hopefully, they'll be willing to be a part of our crazy family" Laughs filled the room and for the first time since the apocalypse started, Tyreese and Sasha felt safe and at home. "Dig in"

The get-together went on until the early hours of the next morning with only a few members of the pack turning in early for a good night's rest. It was during this time that the two newcomers got to know the pack and Ana found herself rather fond of the siblings. Sasha was quiet but polite, though she knew how to respond perfectly to the pack's teasing whilst her older brother was louder and more outgoing. Ana noticed how nurturing and kind Tyreese was with Sofia and Carl, telling them stories of his younger years and funny situations he and Sasha had been in.

Ana was settled comfortably in her mate's lap as she watched her pack Converse with one another. She was thrilled that her pack was able to let their guard down and not fear that they may be in some sort of danger from the world outside of the prison walls.

"Ya alright baby?" Daryl whispered in her ear, his warm breath sending chills down her spine. She leant back into his body, his arms tightening their hold around her as he placed soft kisses on the back of her shoulder and neck.

"Yeah, it's nice to see everyone happy" She sighed contently, a warm smile on her face.

Daryl had never thought he would be in the position he was in, having the most gorgeous woman by his side and having people in his life that he could genuinely call family. It had always been just him and Merl, and even then his older brother wasn't the best role model but since he met Ana, it was as though Merl was finally able to relax and be happy without being judged. Daryl had no clue what things would be like if she hadn't come into their life, but he had a feeling that Merl wouldn't be around due to whatever stupid shit he had done to anger the others.

"Is it just me... or is Merl and Carol flirting?" Ana whispered in Daryl's ear as she watched the older Dixon make Carol giggle and blush, which was not something any of them had seen from the older woman.

"Fuckin' hell" Daryl chuckled in shock, not quite believing his older brother's behaviour. Merl was or should he say, used to be the type of person to think that feelings and emotions were a sign of weakness but he was glad that his brother was able to relax enough to be open with someone. Carol was a good woman with a difficult past, one that Merl could understand to some extent and perhaps the two could help each other with their struggles.

"Come on, darlin'! Just try it!" Merl encouraged Carol, who was looking down at the honey-coated parsnips that he had placed on her plate.

"I don't know... it's an odd combination" She laughed, feeling a little unsure of trying new things.

"Just one bite" Merl dug the fork into the parsnip and held it out for her, an amused grin on his face as he watched her nose crinkle up in disgust. "For me"

With a hesitant sigh, she took a small bite out of the odd food and after a few chews, her eyes lit up in awe. Merle, seeing the expression laughed loudly.

"Told ya!" Carol let out a giggle and nudged him slightly before slicing the parsnip into small bits and began eating.
