Stars are snapshots of a time long since past. Each twinkling light a memory from a different point in history, each shimmer a reminder of things long since forgotten.
As a child, I was told to dream among the stars. To set my ambitions above and beyond, so that I too may join those celestial bodies once my time is done.
For a long time, I feared I was destined to never reach those shimmering bodies I had set my sights on as a small child.
Then I met you.
With an energy as warm as the sun, a personality as bright as a supernova, you entered my life and affected my orbit.
I've decided, if I fail to achieve all of the ambitions and dreams I have since forth created for myself, so long as I can provide you with a sense of safety and security, I have achieved greatness.
I may have shot for the stars, hoping to land amongst
But I've found myself deeply in love with just specifically one.
And until my flame burns out, until I become a memory of the past for someone's distant future,
In your orbit I will proudly remain.
