What if this is bigger than we imagined?
What if we're not another stepping stone in the journey, what if we're more?
What if the feelings we share never dim down, the light never grows cold, the fire never snuffs out, even as we grow old
What if?
The potential is there, it's present, it's real.
Do you feel the way my soul resonates with your love?
When we kiss, do the goosebumps on my skin make known my ambitious desires?
Are you aware of the hope lingering behind these green Irises?
What if we are more, have been more, will always be more than we know?
What if the curtain never falls on our grand show?
What if the potential is never realized because we're scared,
What if we die a thousand deaths before we get to experience an entire lifetime shared?
Or what if we don't?
The potential is there, and I'm willing to chance it.
