I consider you to be the sun, with the brilliance you cast upon me.
Oh how I wish to be a daisy, beautiful and thin, so that I may know what it is like to be basked in your warmth as I sway gently from a summer wind.
Oh how I wish to be a tree, strong and resilient, so that I may grow many leaves to capture your radiance.
And oh how I wish to be a stream, flowing and gentle, so that I may reflect your light and inspire artists with the beautiful scene we create.
But oh how thankful I am to be your partner, enamored and free, because I know what it's like to be loved by you truly. To be adored, to be thought of, to be held by you.
I'll dance in the wind, and put down roots in your presence, I'll float on the waters flowing from our heaven. I'll reflect your love, your kindness, your smiles. I'll protect these feelings and appreciate the trials.
Because if you are the sun, then I must be the rest of creation. My beauty can only be seen and appreciated because you have allowed your warmth to brighten me. And just as I dare not imagine waking up tomorrow without the sun rising, neither then can I perceive waking up tomorrow without you.
