Kapittel 19.2

Friso

"I get out of the washroom without washing my hands :)"

The corner of his lips lifted into a small smile, realizing that Vanessa had actually put another paper on his back. It had been these past weeks that a prank war commenced between him and his beloved ex-lover. It was a hassle, most of the time since it frequented him to do things extra like bringing spare clothes when he didn't have to. But he didn't mind, because it was the only way to get Vanessa's attention and keep her thinking about him. He didn't care how she felt about him, whether it was hate, anger, or vexation even. What was important to him was that he had most of her attention all by himself.

He was all smiling to himself, amused that he bothered her too much that she went all her way to do this until he heard his friends speak.

"Damn, is that true?" Lazarus asked, looking at the paper from behind. It was obvious that he was stifling to laugh. Saijou meanwhile, had already surrendered to temptation and was laughing his heart out.

"What does it say?" asked Toshiro before opening his can of soda and lifting it to his lips, suddenly curious about his friends' reaction.

"I get out of the washroom without washing my hands and a smiley face," Saijou read the words slowly and the entire room was seized with a roar of laughter. Lazarus found it too funny that he was rolling on the floor, clutching his stomach while Toshiro choked on his drink and was wheezing.

"What's going on?" Gray, who just came back, asked upon seeing his friends in a comical state.

"H... Here..." Saijou gave the paper to him, and he was the one to laugh the hardest. "Holy fuck!" he said in between his chortles and the others joined him. Of course, it wasn't every day that their uptight, womanizing campus king was treated like a dunce, so they were savoring it.

Annoyed with how he was the spectacle of ludicrousness, Friso went over to the brunet to retrieve the paper. He was going to keep that paper to himself.

"Woah, man. Don't touch me." Gray immediately stepped back, putting his hands upfront in a defensive stance. "You didn't tell me you didn't like washing hands," he carried on with the joke and his friends laughed again.

"Man, shut up." Friso could only roll his eyes in annoyance. It was shocking that peer pressure could also wane the Trinity Knights' immoral and dignified royalty. "Whatever," he mumbled to himself and turned around to go back to lounging on his couch with a banana milk carton in his hands.

"Lucien would lose it once he sees that thing," Toshiro said, wiping the tear forming on the side of his eye.

The paper was now pasted by Gray on the wall, he even tiptoed so that it was too high to reach for that Friso couldn't get his hands on it. As the tallest person among his peers, he felt proud to be the one to forever preserve the "national treasure" using his height.

"By the way, where's Lucien?" Lazarus asked, noticing that the room was missing one member. There wasn't a day that they were incomplete.

"Went home early," Saijou replied with a short shrug. "He said that he's helping out his dad's new business today as well," he added.

"Eh, okay." Lazarus shrugged his shoulders as well. Lucien did mention that he had been busy helping his dad out lately with their new business, so they weren't worried about him in the slightest. They wanted to show their support by stopping by, but the guy always told them it hadn't fully launched yet.

"But dude." Toshiro glanced at Friso who was drinking his banana milk in silence. "Don't you think you're getting your ass beat by that girl," he said, toppling the latter's card house pride effortlessly like a wrecking ball. "You're Friso de Vries, man! In the name of true gender equality, you should get her ass whooped back!"
