Yunho's whole body was shaking, his breathing was uncontrolled and his gaze was still fixed on the spot where his former childhood friend Song Mingi had been standing a few seconds ago. He still couldn't believe that he had looked him straight in the eye, let alone pointed the gun at him. Yunho's hand became clammy at the thought, but he still stood there frozen at the spot and had to first fully register what was happening around him.

His chip had burned out and he was now highly sensitive to all the emotions that were flooding through him. It was like a tsunami. He didn't know what to do with all the feelings that the chip had suppressed for years. The tightness in his chest was unbearable and if he didn't do something about it quickly, he would certainly vomit in the next moment, if not pass out.

A painful stinging sensation suddenly spread across his neck, reminding Yunho once again that his chip had burned out. There was a strong urge to remove the foreign object himself right then and there.

But he had to fight the urge, even though it felt like thousands fire ants were crawling under his skin. The thought of resisting the urge to remove the chip made him feel dizzy.

If he scratched the chip out now and the other agents caught him, he would be at their mercy and be sent to District 9 immediately.

"I wonder if the authorities have already received a message that my chip has burned through," thought Yunho, gradually becoming even more panicked than before. He breathed in and out uncontrollably while his heart raced wildly. Yunho loosened his tie a little to breathe better.

J.Y. Park said that KQ chips can burn out not only due to defects but also due to negative emotions. Such deviants must be caught as they are a danger to humanity. Such people have only evil intentions, are sly and should be caught. Was Yunho a bad person now?

Something deep inside him was screaming at him to finally leave. His instinct told him not to go to District 9 for the reboot, but simply to leave and hide. As if danger lurked there and that worried Yunho deeply.

Mingi was also a deviant. Why had he never come back after the reboot time in District 9? Why is he only seeing him again after thirteen years? Why was he part of the Guerrillas and why were they totally opposed the KQ chips?

Why? Why? WHY?

Questions upon questions, but Yunho had no answer ready. He was confused and didn't know what to do.

"Yunho!" he heard someone shout again, which was why the man just mentioned frantically tried to keep his face as neutral as possible before turning to face the voice. He pulled himself together incredibly tightly, bundled up all the nerves he had left and had to concentrate hard not to go completely crazy.

"So you couldn't catch anyone either. They were apparently superior to us," Seonghwa realized, breathing heavily and placing his hands on his thighs to control his breathing. Shortly afterwards, Minho and Jisung arrived with the two, who also had no Guerrillas in custody.

"They were lightning fast and from one moment to the next - poof - and they were gone," said Jisung. "Even if they got away, we have the surveillance cameras. Maybe some of them were careless during their escape and left some evidence behind or even slipped their masks. We identified the schoolboy, maybe we can identify more of them," explained Minho, to which everyone nodded in confirmation.

"Surveillance cameras?" Yunho thought frantically. If they watch the footage, they'll see how Yunho had spared the Guerrilla and then started acting strangely before Seonghwa arrived. They'll realize his chip has burned out and send him to reboot.
