Allison POV
I sat in my room and did nothing. I was bored out of my mind. Dad was downstairs. I could do something with him, but Danielle is down there too. We don't have practice this week. Our coach is on vacation. I could go over to one of the guys' houses. I could go see Mimi and Papi. Or I could...no. I promised Jaime I wouldn't hang out with them anymore. I could ask Sofia to go to the mall. I know my dad will take us. He absolutely hates it when Sofia comes over, so he will take us somewhere. It's not that he doesn't like Sofia, it's just Sofia likes him. You see, Sofia and I were friends since first grade. She always came over. No big deal right? She started listening to Pierce the Veil. Now she is obsessed with my dad. She is still my best friend though.
Want to go to the mall?
I waited for a reply.
Sure! Be there in a few xx
She lived across the street. I pulled on my shoes and walked downstairs. "Sofia is coming over." I told dad. He groaned and rolled his eyes. "Okay I will take you guys to the mall or something." He stood up quickly and grabbed his keys. I took out my wristlet and demanded cash. "Fine. Here is some money. Sit in the back and keep her occupied." Dad rushed out. Suddenly, Sofia walked in. "Hey Sofia." I waved for her to come over. "Hey Alli. Hey Vic." She blushed. Vic looked away awkwardly. "I will take you guys to the mall." Vic rushed out. "Okay. Let's go." I smirked. We made our way to his truck. I sat in the back with Sofia. "Dad how long can we stay?" I asked him. Sofia looked at me like I was crazy. She knows he doesn't talk back. I knew this time he would though.
He didn't talk. He just dropped us off. I was shocked. "Didn't you know he wouldn't talk to you?" Sofia asked in a duh tone. "He was talking to me though. At least yesterday he was." I felt hurt. I shook that feeling off and walked into the mall with Sofia.
We went to Hot Topic so Sofia could get more shirts. I told her that Jaime would let her try out new shirts that the band is thinking about selling. She didn't care though. We walked in, and of course I was greeted by fangirls. I try to ignore them, but it never works. They ask so many questions, and I hate it. I watched as Sofia picked out a lot of shirts. She started squealing all of the sudden. "What?" I asked her. "It's Pierce the Veil! Their song is playing!" She started to jump up and down. "Which song?" I looked up at the speaker. "Bulls in the Bronx." Sofia said. I listened and tapped my foot to the beat. It was pretty good I guess. I still like country music though.
We went into Forever 21 at my request. I looked at all the shorts and crop tops. I needed some more. Well, I wanted more. I was picking out a shirt when I saw Kate looking at me. I waved at her before she looked away. She is the most popular girl at my school. Well, I guess that is what you would call her. I'm not very popular, but I am. It's complicated. "Should I get this shirt?" Sofia asked me. It was a cute shirt that said some quote on it. "Sure!" I nodded and smiled. "Really? Let me try it on." She sounded unsure about the shirt.
I waited as she changed in the dressing room. "Are done yet?" I asked her. "Yeah." She sighed and stepped out. The shirt looked awesome on her. It transformed her stick figure into a curvy one. It showed off her D cup boobs. "That looks awesome on you!" I exclaimed. I was jealous. I have a butt yeah, but I don't have boobs. It was the opposite for Sofia. She had no butt and big boobs. "Really?" Her face lit up. "Yeah. Get it." I told her.
We sat at a table in the food court. We were eating some pizza and laughing over stupid stuff. "Look." Sofia whispered and pointed behind me. I turned around and saw Oscar. If you don't know, Sofia has a big crush on Oscar. Oscar has a big crush on Sofia. They are just too shy to talk to each other. Oscar noticed us because him and his friends started walking over here. "Hey Oscar." Sofia said quietly as he took a seat next to her. "Hey Sofía ! te ves bien hoy. (Hey Sofia! You look nice today.)" At one point or another, I told Oscar that Sofia likes it when boys speak Spanish. I wasn't lying to the kid. She does. Trust me. I don't ever tell lies. Maybe. Oscar's friend Vincent sat next to me. "Todavía data que el novio tuyo? (Still dating that boyfriend of yours?)" Vincent asked me. I shook my head. He gave me a sympathetic smile. "a continuación, le gustaría ir a cenar alguna vez? una chica guapa como tú no debería estar solo. (Then would you like to go to dinner some time? A pretty girl like you shouldn't be lonely.)" Vincent asked. I blushed a little and nodded my head. Vincent was sixteen. I was about to be fourteen. "Great. Pick you up on Friday?" He smiled. I laughed a little at the change of language. I was one of the only people whose first language was English at me school. "Sounds great. You live across the street right?" I remember him always coming out of the house across from ours. He nodded and laughed. I looked over at Sofia and Oscar. They were laughing about something. "Well I guess I will see you then." I smiled at Vincent. "Cool." He nodded. "Hey Oscar, my mamá wants us back at the casa." Vincent told Oscar. They both walked off after saying goodbye and stuff. I felt my phone vibrating, it was Jaime.
"Hello?"
"Hey Alli Cat, Vic wants me to pick you guys up. I'm already here."
"Ugh okay. Where?"
"Outside. I'm where he dropped you off."
"Okay I will be there."
I hung up on him. "We have to go." I told Sofia. "Okay. Let's." She stood up and smiled. I guess we both got guys now.
A/N: I'm pissed at my step sister. I'm going to throw her shoes in the lake brb
