Seth

"Phone," Star wakes me up handing me my phone, "it keeps ringing."

The call ended and I look over at the other side of the bed, "where is mommy," I ask sleepy while sitting up in the bed. She points towards the door with her eyes still closed.

My phone rings yet again and Star smacking her teeth in frustration, so do I because it's Storm's dad.

Answering the call I get out of bed and he immediately start yelling.

Me: wow! Listen old man, don't call me at 2 in the morning yelling at me

Me: wow! Listen old man, don't call me at 2 in the morning yelling at me.

I'm taken aback at him screaming at me, but my brain isn't comprehending shit. I just woke up.

Walking out of the room I look to my right seeing Storm crying, "baby," I whisper towards her not giving care in the world if Rhode hears what I'm saying.

Pulling her into my chest her dad is still screaming.

Rhode: and I told you not to fuck around with my daughter! You have some girl blowing up my phone with you and her fucking. I swear to fucking God man.

I can hear him throw something.

This has Ally written all over it.

"I should've stopped her from sending it I didn't know it would be this deep, I'm sorry baby," Storm cries and my heart pounds from anger.

She always has to be the one apologizing!

Me: what me and Storm do has nothing to do with you Rhode. I didn't sign a contract saying I wouldn't sleep with her and I for sure didn't sign a contract saying I wouldn't fall in love with her.

Rhode: is this what this is? You're in love with my daughter? You know just as good as me that she's not ready for a relationship

Me: yeah you must've forgotten I was her fuckin' therapist. I dealt with her break downs, I dealt with her panic attacks, and I'm still dealing with the hurt of absent fathers for not only Star but Storm too. You haven't been here, so I'll be damned if you try to tell me what my woman is ready for.

Storm looks up at me after wiping her eyes.

Rhode: my daughter isn't your woman. She's a little girl just getting out a relationship with a serial psychopath she doesn't need to get into another one! With you son of a bitch!
