Seth

When I look at Storm I see the person I want to spend forever with, I see someone who's changed my view of the world, I see a mother...

I see the love of my life.

"I love you," I say randomly while she's in the middle of ranting about something her and Aura did.

"I love you too," her smile beams.

Maybe Lucifer is right, there is a God up there. I can't think of any other reason how I got this lucky, she's perfect in every way. Looking across the table at her glowing face, and then around the restaurant it tells me I definitely struck gold.

"Can I ask you something," I reach over for her hand, while admiring her I ask for the millionth time, "can I be your boyfriend?"

I don't care how many times I have to ask that question I will make her mine one day, this is probably the 20th time I've asked her. She never flat out said no, so that's why I kept asking, I feel she's already my girlfriend tho. Asking her is just confirming it, we do everything everyday couples do.

She rubs my hand, "I would love for you to be my boyfriend, baby," I light squeeze her hand.

If only she knew as soon as I'm alone I'm jumping up and down, Star is too. I tell that little girl everything, I asked her how she think I should ask her mommy out. She said, 'on a date with a lot of candles and wine because mommy loves wine.'

Star thinks wine is grape juice, Scar called me yelling because he thought I was giving her wine when he was babysitting her. It was the funniest thing, she loves using Storm's wine cups and pouring her grape juice in it.

Storm hasn't touched her wine tho.

"You don't like the wine, sunshine" I ask.

She looks at it, then at me, and then down at her lap, "well um.." she looks up at me again. Whatever she's about to say must be something serious, her smile dropped and the table went silent for a moment, "I have something to tell you," I squeeze her hand again so she knows it's okay to speak.

Her voice cracked a little and I'm not sure what to expect right now, it has to be something good, this is a good day and I don't want anything ruining it, "my love, what's wrong," I ask seeing she's starting to tear up.

Leaning across the table I wipe a tear that falls down, "we can leave if you want to, I'll go find a waiter," I'm about to get up when she holds on tight to my hand. I take that as a sign to stay.

Now I'm definitely confused.

"No baby," she sniffs, "I'm fine," she intakes a deep breath and I wait for her to tell me what's going on. It has to be something big for her to cry over it, it can also be something small and she's crying because of how happy we are. I just want to know what it is.

"I'm pregnant," she announces.

My eyes grow wide, "what," I say trying to control my excitement, "we're having a baby," I ask out loud, forgetting where's in a sophisticated environment. She reaches in her purse pulling out something, and handing it to me, "we're having a baby," she says with the biggest smile.
