Storm

Seth's phone dings.

Picking it up, I see it's one of Lucifer's workers informing us Dominic is dead.

"Is that the text," Seth asks me after I picked his phone up to see who texted him.

Nodding my head I smile and lean over to kiss him. I don't have to deal with Dominic anymore!

"First day of school tomorrow," Seth reminds Star, changing the subject. She's using her newly bought markers to color in the tattoos on his arm. She should be sleeping right now so we don't have to deal with the whining on waking up so early. But here we are.

Seth and his brother's school allows me to change the time she goes to school during a later time, but she would throw a fit if she isn't with her friends and their classes start at 7am and end at 2pm. When she gets a full 12 hours of sleep she doesn't wake up grumpy so I like for her to be in bed by 7, if not it's fine I'll just get Seth to wake her up.

He wakes up at 5am in the morning anyways. I have no clue how they do that shit, my day doesn't start until at least 10am on a good day.

"Yep," she says focused on coloring the red into the rosé petals, they're already red she's just making it brighter, "I can't wait," she smiles at Seth and her missing front teeth makes that smile so much sweeter.

Being in a home I can call mine, being with a family I can call mine, and looking at those two things together heals me inside. I finally have my own life, a life that's not being controlled by my mother or partner. A life I've dreamed of since my daughter was a baby. A man that loves my child because of her and not because of who her mother is.

The only thing I don't like is being the bad guy, "no more ice cream," I tell them taking the bowl away, "mommy," Star whines. She hardly hears no and Seth won't tell it to her because he doesn't like to see her sad, if only he realizes she knows how to play the game when it comes to getting what she wants.

"Yes, mommy," Seth mocks.

Giggling I grab the bowl standing up to walk to the kitchen, I put the bowl in the dishwasher, and go back to the living room seeing Star already cuddling in her dad's arms.

"Is she really sleep," I ask sitting back on the bed.

Seeing how he is with Star makes me happy I'm pregnant. He's an amazing dad along with being an amazing person. This baby and Star is so lucky to have them, we're going out tonight, and I'm trying to prepare myself to tell him.

He nods his head to my question, "I'm going to put her in her bed," he informs me, and I lean over kissing her cheek before my lips connect to Seth's. His lips give me butterflies, "okay," I say after pulling away. I didn't want to.

Now that our home is more secured and our rooms have their own locks I don't mind having sex with Seth while Star is in the house, as long as I have a baby monitor in the room and we're quiet. Who would've known quiet sex feels so good?

Pleasure comes from withholding pleasure, and watching Seth struggling not to make any noise is so sexy.

We're definitely having a quickie before Seth's grandmother gets here.
