Seth

Rolling over I expect for my arm to fall over Storm.

Instead it falls on the cold mattress.

We came back home because it was storming so bad the lights went out and there's no backup generators there.

Shock out of my sleep my phone goes off for the third time, "damnit," I mumble. I always sleep the best right after me and Storm fuck good, but somethings telling me sleep isn't that important right now.

Reaching under my pillow I grab my phone looking at the notifications.

Clicking on one of the security alerts I jump up. It says 'motion detected,' it shows me a picture of a shadow outside the house. Only piece of clothing I hurriedly put on are my underwear, running downstairs directly into the living room I look over at the kitchen. There's a man with a gun pointed at Storm, he's yelling at her, and judging by the look on her face I know exactly who it is.

Dominic

He's screaming in her face and I could hear her panic attack, walking over to the TV I reach behind it grabbing my gun.

Shooting him in his lower back he hollers, aiming for his head this time my gun doesn't shoot.

Fuck!

"Leave you son of a bitch," I scream hoping it intimidates him.

He does just that running out of the back door close to the kitchen holding his back.

"Seth," Storm calls out for me after she drops her body to the ground. Rushing over to her I get down making sure there's no blood coming from her, "I can't do this," she cries.

Holding onto her I kiss the top of her head, "you don't have to, I'll handle it," she holds on unbelievably tight to me.

Just to think if I wouldn't have woke up she could've been the one getting shot, she could've been the one dead and it would've been my fault.

I should've went after the son of a bitch and shot him down, her shaken frame simmers down and so does her tears, "you're safe," I whisper and she nods her head.

"I thought I was dead, I thought I was never going to see my little girl again," she says turning her head and pressing it against my chest, "I want him dead."

Standing up I help her up, bringing her back into that same hug, "okay sunshine," I take in a deep breath

Closing the door to the car I walk towards Lucifer's home, Lucifer picked Storm up an hour ago, I stayed at home to see if the motherfucker was coming back, I even drove around to see if I can find him.

Nothing.

But I promise when I do find him, it's over, I've never felt this kind of hurt. I feel my heart beating in my ears, and every piece of anger I have shot down into my fist. I swear when I catch that bitch I'm killing him. I don't need Lucifer's help or even Scar's I want to murder him myself.
