WALKING UP TO CHRISTINA AT A NURSE'S DESK, Delilah tuts as she notices her about to drink coffee. "Nuh-uh! No coffee for you, pregnant mama," she chirps, taking the cup out of Christina's hand.

The Korean Intern shoots her a dirty look. "You don't have to care about what will happen to my baby. I told you I'm not keeping it," she sighed.

"I know that, but it won't stop me from taking care of you when you're physically impaired!" Delilah exclaimed, crossing her arms.

Christina rolled her eyes. "I'm pregnant. Not paralysed," she deadpans. "I don't need you taking care of me!"

As Delilah watches Christina walk away, she shakes her head. "She is not okay," she whispered.

In the viewing deck, Delilah sits next to Derek as they chart together.

"There's too much damage. We'll have to remove most of the colon instead of a local resection," Richard grumbles.

He tries to stitch the colon but finds trouble doing so. "You have to push it up," he instructs the nurse, who does as he says.

He tries the stitch again but misses it. "More suture. And what's with these damn lights in here?" he barks frustratedly.

Delilah and Derek share a look. There's something wrong with him.

The two doctors stop charting to pay attention to Richard's surgery. He was fidgety— and it seemed like something was tampering with his vision.

Delilah frowned. This is not good.

"Give me a bigger retractor, please," the Chief requested.

Richard held his hand out to the nurse for the retractor, but it falls to the floor.

"Sorry, Doctor," the nurse apologises.

"It wasn't you."

Delilah nudged Derek's shoulder. "Derek..." she trailed off.

The man nodded solemnly. "I know," he sighed.

Delilah watched worriedly as the Chief exits the OR, letting Dr Bailey finished the surgery. "And we'll fix it?" she asked.

"We will," he nodded. "Don't worry, Delilah. I got this."

Delilah and Derek stood outside the Chief's office, ready to confront him about what happened in the operating room. The neurosurgeon knocked on the door, not bothering to wait for an answer before entering.

"You dropped a retractor," he said, shutting the door behind him.

Richard stayed silent, staring and the two surgeons in front of him.
