DELILAH DOESN'T RUN

DELILAH DOESN'T RUN. She's never been a fan of physical activities, nor will she ever be. She doesn't like being sweaty. She finds it gross. So, when Meredith asked her to come to the park for a morning jog, she obviously declined.

It seemed that the dirty blonde wouldn't take no for an answer, as she ignored Delilah's protests and forced her out of the house in her pyjamas.

Now, Delilah and Christina jogged side by side. The latter glared daggers at Meredith. "Oh, you are stupid. Oh, God..." Christina panted as they stopped. After a moment of catching her breath, she continued jogging. "You're a stupid, evil sadist, and I want to kill you," the Korean gritted.

"Endorphins are good. Endorphins are mood elevators. This is supposed to make us feel better," Meredith responded.

Delilah narrowed her eyes at the woman. "Do we look like we feel better?" she deadpanned. "I was fine before we got here. Now, I just want to kill you. You know how much I hate exercising!" Delilah exclaimed.

"I'm stupid," Meredith admitted out of the blue.

Then, Christina and Meredith started insulting each other.

"Slutty mistress." Christina.

"Pregnant whore." Meredith.

Delilah watched the two in amusement, giggling as they expressed disappointment in their choices.

"Sleeping with our bosses was a great idea," Christina groaned. She stopped jogging and instead opted to walk around the open field.

Meredith joined in. "You know what's ruined for me? Ferry boats. I used to love ferry boats. And Derek's got a thing for ferry boats. Now every time I see a freakin' ferry boat..." she trailed off.

"You know what's ruined for me? Coronary artery bypass grafts. And aortic aneurysms. God, I used to love aortic aneurysms," Christina complained as she lay on the grass beside Delilah.

The brunette gave Christina a pat on the shoulder. "You'll be fine, but until then, I have a supply of Strawberry Ice Cream for all of us to drown our sorrows in," she shared.

Meredith and Christina shared a look. "All of us? What's wrong with your pretty blonde girlfriend?" the latter asked.

"Nothing..." Delilah replied. She didn't want to talk about what happened with August. She preferred to send whatever memories of them to the back of her mind— where things were left to be forgotten.

Meredith wasn't convinced. "Okay... I won't push. I'll be here whenever you're ready to tell me about it," she said.

"We'll both be here," Christina added.

Delilah gave her friends a grateful look. The trio lay on the grass together, gazing at the clouds in the sky.

"Have you cried yet?" Meredith asked out of the blue.
