Darnell and I are driving to his parents house to tell them about me being pregnant. Of course he isn't excited about the trip but i think he should talk to them. Especially since the last time they seen eachother.
Ive always known about the toxic family he's had since i've met him but i'm a family person so I'm always the one telling him to talk it out. You never want to wait til it's too late.
Were holding hands as he is driving and i can feel him squeeze my hand as we get closer to their house.
"its going to be okay" I look at him with reassuring eyes.
He chuckles. "ion kno if that's a good thing or not" He looks at me then looks back at the road.
I do think its fucked up the way they treated him during him having his daughter but they obviously didn't trust Jess for a good reason. but the fact that Darnell is stubborn and don't like forgiving people; especially his family, he's going to be off.
After about 15 more minutes we were pulling up to his parents house.
"you ready?" I look at him.
he shrugs. "ion rly got a choice.." he says then gets out the car.
While he gets the carseat out the back I grab Ariana diaper bag. Before we could make it to the door his mother was running out with open arms.
"JADAA!" His mother runs to me and squeeze me to the point where it hurts.
"oh- hey Lou" I try to back my stomach up so she wouldn't squeeze it.
"hey Jada..omg ive missed you baby" she puts her hands on my face looking at me.
I laugh. "Yea its been awhile" I smile at her.
She looks at my stomach and notices the bump. Her eyes goes wide.
"are you!???" She yells.
I start smiling real hard while nodding.
"OH MY GOSH! YOUR SERIOUS??" She gets even more excited.
"Danrell!! Why didn't you been tell us!!" She runs to him. I notice she didn't even give him a hug.
Darnell shrugs. "i just found out not too long ago"
When we make it to the house Lou calls Alonzo out and he comes into the living room.
"hey wassup Jada, haven't seen you in awhile" Alonzo says when he walks out.
"yea we came to tell you guys some news" I look at Darnell who looks miserable. I hold my hand out to him and he grabs it and come sit next to me.
"we are 6 weeks pregnant" I smile as i show them the ultra sound pictures.
