"i really don't need you fightin me on this D.." Malik sighs as he is getting ready to go to the plane.
"can you just stop for one fucking second and look at me??" I almost yell. He was moving around so much and i could barely get a word out of him.
He pauses and turn to look at me.
"do you really think you should be going out so far right now?? you just got out for 'his' murder" I say referring to Alex.
"i have to help him Ma, he is my family, i wouldn't let it go down for you or no one else i care about" He says.
I chuckle in disbelief that he is comparing Alex to me or anyone else that just wouldn't do no dumb shit like kill a cop.
I sit on the bed, just looking down at my hands.
"it's always something...when will it ever just be us" I look up at him.
He shakes his head. "dont say that ma..when i come back we can do sum, i promise" he says.
"you make so many promises that you can't keep" I say softly as i walk away from him, i feel his eyes burning at the side of my face once i said that.
He stands without saying anything. He finishes getting ready then right before he leaves he walks up to me.
He kisses me cheek. "i love you, be safe and dont be stubborn..text me if you need me" He says before walking out.
Soon as i heard the door close the tears came. After crying for like 5 minutes i washed my face then i text Imani and Jada.
Me: what yall doing? i need to get out this house
I throw my phone on my bed, walking to my kitchen and putting a frozen pizza into the oven. Ive been trying to gain weight after i got sick i lost alot of weight and ive noticed it, so im trying to get it back and then some.
I preheat the oven then put the pizza in the oven, not letting it preheat. I go back to my phone and they still haven't answered. I suck my teeth going to my find my iphone to look at their location.
I see Jada is home which means she probably still sleep which is unusual but it's probably the baby. I go to Imani location and notice she's at Jaden house? I look at Jaden location and he's home too.
I scrunch my face up and think for a second. why the fuck are they together... I ask myself, genuinely confused.
I call Imani and it rings a couple times then goes to voicemail, i call again and she doesn't answer. I go back to her location and now its off.
