"ouu that's cold" I chuckle as im holding malik hand.
"yes that's what alot of first time mommies say" my OB says as she laughs.
"you don't even have no stomach showing" Malik says as he's looking at my stomach whole the OB moving the stick around, trying to find the baby
"that's also normal for first timers, they won't start showing til 5-7 months and get bigger every week after that" she says.
"yea i can't wait" malik nods while smirking.
i scrunch my eyebrows at him and rolls my eyes. If you don't know, we are at our first obgyn appointment since we found out we are pregnant. Ever since i found out, ive been more nauseous and barely want to eat anything.
"you just want me to be fat so i can't do nothing" I say to him but i was looking at the screen.
Malik chuckles not saying anything else so i knew i was right.
"oh wow.. you guys are measuring 13 weeks! you're already in you 2nd trimester" the nurse says while smiling.
my eyes goes wide, "so you telling me ive been pregnant for 3 months already?"
"yup" she says.
"when i was at the hospital they told me i was half way through my 1 first trimester and i was measuring small" I say.
she scrunches her eyebrows, "mm no, you're measured the right size. hospital tend to say incorrect things when it comes to pregnant women in there early stages of pregnancy, most hospital don't have the technology we use so it be off" she says.
I nod.
"i was drinking and smoking" I say, a little scared.
"okay that's fine but now that you know, we're gonna get you everything you need to get you on track" she says to assure me.
I nod. I look up at Malik and he is looking at the computer as he is caressing my hair.
this made me happy not going to lie. Being here with Malik and seeing our little peanut ball in my stomach. something we made.....we made out of our love.
"heres the heart beat" the nurse pushes in to my stomach and the heart beat comes from the monitor making my heart skip a beat.
Tears immediately flood my eyes. Malik grabs my hands and we just squeeze each other tight. I can't believe we're really having a baby.
