That just made the group laugh all the louder. And left Astra without a spoon, so she took the one Draco had in his hand. The one he had already put in his mouth. It even shocked him.
"Oh, Angel, this has been the best day of my life!" Theo called over the table.
"Why do you keep calling her that?" Draco snapped. "She has a name, I assume. Although I daresay I cannot remember it at present."
"Of course you can't," Astra smirked.
Draco leaned in closer to Astra and whispered to her, "Are you so egocentric that you assume that everyone knows who you are?"
"Not at all. But I wonder if you are so narcissistic that you assume you know everything about everyone?"
"But I do."
"You do or you are?" She questioned.
The others watched her, a newfound confidence she didn't know she had, nor did she know where it came from. Draco face flushed pink from embarrassment. It was not often he was rendered speechless by anyone. He pulled the spoon out of his mouth. Her spoon.
Astra watched as he licked the spoon before dipping it back into his dessert, popping it into his mouth eating the ice-cream and handing it to her.
"I do believe that this is yours," he said, handing her the spoon. She had his in her mouth and looked a little shocked. She didn't know what to do. Not that she need have worried. Draco took hold of the spoon in her mouth and gently pulled it out. Then he shocked everyone there by popping it into his own.
Astra knew what he was doing. He was trying to charm her. Make her melt for him just like every other girl that he has probably ever come across.
It was NOT happening.
"I hope you don't have any infectious diseases," she merely said as she took her original spoon off him and scooped up some ice-cream and began to eat as she turned to Pansy. "Have you got all your shopping done for school?"
Pansy was loving the interaction. "Yes, I believe so. I am not taking as many classes this year as Draco or Blaise, however, so I didn't need as much."
"And what classes are you taking?" Astra asked as she noticed Draco scooting closer to her. He was clearly not used to being ignored.
"I am taking five, actually. Charms, Astronomy, Potions, History of Magic, and Care of Magical Creatures." Pansy said, watching as Draco looked perplexed. She watched him play this game with girls all the time. He would flirt and get them into a frenzy and then simply walk away, leaving his latest conquest in a pile of mush. He had even done it to Pansy herself once, years ago.
She was glad to see that Astra seemed to be resisting his advances so far.
"Maybe we will be in Potions or Charms class together," Astra smiled. She turned to Theo. "And what about you, Theo?"
"Oh, I am doing the same subjects as Pansy, actually," Theo smiled.
"A happy coincidence, I am sure," Draco scoffed. Astra looked at him with a slight glare. He was being a real...well tosser was the first word that sprung to her mind.
"And what about you, Blaise?" Maddi asked, steering the conversation in the right direction.
"I am doing seven NEWT subjects this year." He smiled.
"Just like Astra. She was always a clever little witch," Maddi smiled. "I myself am only taking on six. What are your subjects?"
"Well, I am doing Potions, obviously. Then I have Transfiguration, DADA, History Of Magic, Herbology, Astronomy, and Charms."
