Astra was suddenly very nervous. She looked at the security guard who looked a little gobsmacked. He gave a whistle. "Wow, I am glad I am not your boyfriend right about now. He will be here any second with his tail between his l-"
The door opened and in stepped Draco. "Legs," the guard finished and moved to the side of the room.
"My father wants to meet you," he said in a soft voice.
"I know," Astra said clearly upset. Draco had expected her to yell or throw something at him but she was quiet. Too quiet and it was even worse.
"Listen abut what you heard -" he began, but Astra held her hand up to silence him.
"Can I leave the bag in here?" Astra asked the guard setting it on the bench she was as just at.
"Yeah, I will look after it," the guard nodded.
"Thank you so much," Astra said stepping out of the room. Draco put his hand on the small of her back but she simply stepped forward and away from his touch. She turned to him. "Are you going to open the door? Isn't this how PureBlood witches should behave? You see I wouldn't know because apparently I am very ignorant when it comes to how to act like a lady."
Draco blushed. He didn't mean it the way it came out. But he would explain that after. He put his hand to the door and pushed it open as the couple stepped inside. Lucius looked up and froze. He couldn't believe it.
"It's you," he gasped and Astra looked a little confused. She gave a nod. "Oh my dear," he lifted his hand to her, but the chains prevented him from actually reaching her. She stepped forward and to him in two large steps. "I have wanted to meet you for some time. I never did get the chance to thank you for saving my family and me. You were the reason we survived that war."
"No sir," she smiled. "You did that yourself. I just gave you a little luck to help you. I gave the same to everyone."
"And because of you, many people got to go home to their families. So many people owe their lives to you. And you saved us when Dolohov cast that curse. If not for you one of us, maybe all three of us would be dead."
He gave her hand a squeeze. "I was heartbroken when I saw that boulder hit you. I am so glad you are OK."
"Thank you sir," she smiled down and set her free hand on top of his which were still holding onto her other hand. "I was just glad I could do something to help. I am afraid I am not much of a fighter but I wanted to so something meaningful."
"And you did, my dear. You really did." He left go of her hand and gestured for her to sit down next to Narcissa. "So you are the one who was matched to my boy?"
"I am sir. I am pretty sure at the beginning the news that we were paired was enough to make Draco's ears bleed but we have been getting along very well."
"I am glad to hear it," Lucius smiled. "You let me know if he ever does anything out of line and I will personally scold him for you."
"Most of the time he is a perfect gentleman," Astra assured him.
"And how has the relationship been going?"
Astra bit her lip and looked around the empty room not sure how to answer. "It has been going great father," Draco butt in.
"We have had our problems," Astra corrected. "It has not been smooth sailing but then when is a relationship ever perfect?"
"That is very wise," Lucius smiled. "So tell me a little about yourself Astra."
"Well until recently I believed I had no family. It broke my heart but it made me realise after the war that I was ready to settle down and create my family. I wanted to have kids and be an amazing mother to them. Give them all the love and affection they deserve. I love school and was over the moon to be invited back to finish my education as it is important to me."
