The following morning, Astra woke up a little later than usual. Goyle had been right about one thing - she had nightmares about him all night. She must have woken up about seven or eight times in a cold sweat.

And each time she did, she would look to the empty side of the bed and wonder where Draco was and what he was up to. She was very worried.

She hadn't left herself a lot of time but she jumped out of bed and hopped into the shower. She managed to get dressed, teeth and hair brushed and even fed Atlas and had a few minutes of cuddles before she ran out the door. She would have to give breakfast a miss in order to get to class on time.

She skipped out of the trunk and down into the dorm room which was completely empty and out the portrait hole running the whole way to Charms class. Draco was already in his seat next to her and as she sat down, he stiffened.

"I was wondering where you had slipped off to yesterday," she said smiling. "I thought you would be in my trunk when I arrived."

"I...just felt like being in my own bed." He shrugged.

"OK," she smiled. "Will you be there tongi-"

"I have loads of work to catch up on Astra," he snapped. "I have to focus on my school work... not girls."

Ouch!

"Oh...em...alright," she said with a frown. "Sorry." she was about to ask if he needed help when he turned his back on her and looked ahead as Professor Flitwick began to talk.

She was trying not to think too much into it and began to take notes as Flitwick talked about the new spell they were looking into for the first half before, he told them to get into pairs to practise. She turned to Draco but he was talking to the girl to his left.

"Want to pair up?" He asked her smiling.

"Yeah," she said seductively. "With you...anything."

"Great!" he smiled and turned to grab his wand. He saw the hurt flash on Astra's face and his own face dropped. He wasn't sure what he was playing at but he just couldn't be around her right now.

Astra shook it off and plastered on a smile. She looked to her right to see Dean and Seamus paired up. "Does anyone not have a partner?" Flitwick called out.

Astra went a deep shade of red and raised her hand. "I don't professor," she said trying not to sound annoyed.

"Great, you can work with Wes, who is here to help out for the day," he called as Wes stepped forward.

"Fuck sake," Draco muttered as the girl next to him leaned forward and whispered something in his ear.

"Must be my lucky day," Wes smiled as he stood in front of Astra's desk.

"Hey Wes," Astra sighed.

"Why don't we head over to the corner to practise where it is less...crowded," Wes said as he held out his hand.

Astra didn't want to take it but didn't want to be impolite. Draco was watching her like a hawk. She instead handed Wes her wand. "Can you hold this for me?" She asked as she stood up and walked to the corner.

She had to admit though that Wes was completely professional and actually quite helpful. He may have went above and beyond, putting her into the right stance, by placing his hands on her hip and positioning her.

Draco looked purple with rage.

When the bell sounded the end of class, Astra smiled and thanked Wes before hurrying off to Alchemy for another hour of Draco completely ignoring her and pretending she didn't exist.
