They had finished their questions so quickly there was not much else to do but to sit there and think about what was said by Mr Brennan. Astra didn't even notice but looking back on what she and Draco said, they did speak like they were already in a relationship. And it was a natural feeling. Talking about Christmas, and moving in together. Astra expected to be embarrassed but she wasn't.

And it confused her.

Was she starting to have feelings for Draco? The guy who pissed her off more times than she could count? The guy who constantly mocked her or had a sarcastic comment about everything she said. And yet Draco was the guy who was always there for her lately. The one who sat in the hospital with her brought her books, and treats, and gave her his class notes. Who did homework with her and reminded her to take her meds? He was always with her, looking out for her and protecting her and she found that the conversations she had with Draco were the most meaningful and sweetest she had ever had.

What the hell was happening to her? Was she falling for him?

"Astra?"

She jumped and looked up into his eyes. His beautiful, piercing grey eyes. 'Fuck me, I definitely am!'

"I am sorry I was reading these again. What did you say?"

"McGonagall says we can go as we are finished."

Professor McGonagall was standing over them. "Apologies Professor, I was lost in my own little world."

"Well anywhere that makes you smile like that must be a magical place," she smirked. "Mr. Malfoy, Mr. Nott, and Miss Parkinson are going to walk you back to your dorm. Is that OK?"

"Of course," she nodded and put her book in her bag. Draco stood up and offered her his arm which she blushed and took and they headed off with Theo and Pansy in front of them.

Up the stairs no one really said anything and Astra was humming to herself thinking about Draco.

She was hopeless.

"Those questions weren't bad at all," Theo said as he kissed Pansy's hand.

"No we did pretty well, didn't we?" Draco said smugly.

"Well we didn't fight and I didn't have to hex you so I would call it a win," Astra smiled up at him, her tongue in her teeth.

"You're lucky you're cute," he muttered.

And Astra's breath caught in her throat.

"Merlin Draco you are obvious," Pansy laughed.

Now it was his turn to blush.

"Home sweet home," Theo called opening the dorm portrait. "Pansy want to play chess?"

"Sure babes," she giggled and they moved to the empty board.

The common room was very full as it was only about 7 pm. "Want to head to my room?" Astra found herself asking. "I actually want to show you something," she said.

"Lead the way," Draco smiled not quite believing his luck. He was just trying to think of an excuse to spend more time with her.

It still baffled him that the boys were now allowed in the girl's rooms and weren't subjected to a slide everytime they tried to enter.

What he had noticed was that the younger years could not get onto their floor. It was as if it was barricaded off to them. Strange.

Astra opened her bedroom door and stepped in taking Draco by the arm over to her bed.

"So, what did you want to show me?" Draco asked.

"My secret hideout. Professor Flitwick helped me practice the spell to make it in sixth year. I swear if I knew how to do this in my first year, I would never have gone back to the orphanage." She smiled as she opened her trunk which was sitting up against the wall next to her bed.
