As It Was *Complete*

93. Tomorrows Edition

The group decided to wait until after the checkup to read the stories. For one Astra was trying to keep her blood pressure at a healthy level and Merlin knows what was in that paper but she knew it wasn't good. So as the group headed off to the hospital wing, Professor McGonagall headed off to call an emergency meeting with the Daily Prophet and Minister for Magic.

"Ah right on time," Madame Pomfrey smiled as the doors to the hospital wing opened and in stepped the group. "We have an audience with us today?" She asked looking around.

Draco nodded. "All the aunts and uncles wanted to be here for the news."

"And the Great uncles and aunts," Sirius called as he practically skipped into the wing with Remus and Andromeda hot on his heels.
After that the grandparents arrived, Narcissa snd Severus who was linking arms with Esme.

"Alright then," the matron said. If she was annoyed by the amount of guests she didn't show it. "I have some tests to run on Astra first and the we will get to the scan. You can all wait behind the curtain." There were a few groans but no one objected as Narcissa flicked her wand and the curtain closed around the bed, where Astra now lay.

"How are you feeling Astra?" The matron asked as she used her wand to scan the expecting mums body. "You seem a little pale."

"Apologies," Astra said quickly. "I feel ok. Little more tired than usual. The heartburn is awful but we found that Fizzing Whizzbees work wonders for the pain.

Madame Pomfrey laughed. "It's the chalky sensation that settles the heartburn."

"Works better than milk I've found."

The matron laughed as she listened to Astras heart and then the baby's. "Well everything sounds as it should. I think I might give you a vial for anemia. Your bloods are low and it would make you feel tied and dizzy. This should help with all that. Give you a little boost." She smiled. Nothing to worry about though. It's very common in pregnancies."Astra smiled and nodded as Madame Pomfrey threw a blanket over her leave and lifted her top up feeling her stomach. "So any other things I should know?"

"Professor Snapes vials worked a treat and she is sleeping much better and less headaches and migraines. She's only had one in the last two weeks," Draco explained.

"Because I am a genius!" Severus called through the curtain making everyone laugh.

"I'm so glad they helped. In order for baby to be alright, mummy has to be alright," she said as she stepped back. "Are you ready for the fun part?"
Both Astra and Draco nodded excited as she pushed back the curtain and lifted her wand, muttering the spell.

For several minutes no one dared speak or even breath loudly as Madame Pomfrey moved the tip of her wand around Astra's little bump. The she made everyone jump by shouting "aha" and "gotcha" as she looked up at the couple.

She muttered another spell and the same little screen appeared into thin air like before. Draco and Narecissa gasped as Astra smiled and took Dracos hand giving it a squeeze. "That's our baby."

Draco's eyes were filled with tears already as he looked between the screen and Astra. "That's our baby," he smiled and kissed her. "Our beautiful little..." he looked to Madame Pomfrey. "Do you know what it is?"

The matron nodded. "Would you like to know?" She smiled.

"Yes!" About ten voices shouted. "Please," Astra added.

"Well from what I can see you are having a little boy." She smiled as the room erupted into 'aws' and 'ohs'. She began to point out the baby's features on the screen to everyone as Snape and Remus asked questions and her due f
