Pansy raised her arms up in defence. "Don't worry," she hissed. "I set everyone in the Slytherin common room straight."
"They thought that I gave Draco an ultimatum?" Astra said sadly. She knew when people found out there would be rumours and gossip but not this! She just assumed they would think it was scandalous that someone was pregnant in school.
Draco put his arm around her as Pansy sighed. The three jumped onto the next staircase. "Astoria was already fuming that you were engaged. She has fancied Draco for ages. She asked her father to pay the Ministry to match her and him."
Draco scrunched up his nose. "She's not even my type....and she's a child!"
Pansy tried not to laugh. "Well she thinks she's old enough to be in love. Anyway, she called me down and there were loads in the common room. She asked if it was true that you were pregnant Astra. Said that everyone was taking about it."
Astra shrugged. "It doesn't annoy me that everyone knows. They were going to find out sooner or later," she frowned. "But I can't believe people think so little of me. That they think I bloody trapped him," she pointed to Draco.
"I told them that you were both in love. I told them you were soulmates and that yes you were pregnant and both very happy so much so Draco asked you to marry him." She looked to Draco. "Couple of the guys were pissed."
"At me?" Astra said sadly.
"Not exactly," Pansy said looking to Draco.
Draco gave a huff. "Pissed that I asked you to marry me before they could have a turn with you."
"Beg your pardon?" Astra was in shock. "Don't talk crap."
Pansy raised an eyebrow as she looked to Astra. "It's like you don't see how beautiful and amazing you are," she shook her head. "There's loads of guys that are interested in you. Alan Prince wanted to ask you out before Draco ever happened. Henry Carmichael didn't care you were with Draco and wanted to ask you out irregardless. Wes is still watching you everywhere you go."
"I had to stop Draco from hexing him the other day," Theo chuckled as he ran down the last step and jumped onto their staircase as it connected with the ground floor and the four friends stepped off and headed into the hall where even more people were gawking.
"You did -"
"Oi!" Draco growled. "Idiot!" He rolled his eyes as his friend and wrapped an arm around Astra looking down at her and smiling before kissing her head and guiding her to the top of the Ravenclaw table. Astra simply rolled her eyes.
As the four began to eat. They were joined by Harry and Ginny before finally Maddi, Blaise, Ron and Hermione. It was a bit of an awkward breakfast as everyone watched the group not taking their eyes off them all.
"Someone want to fill us in?" Maddi asked nervously.
Not that she needed to as at that exact moment, Astoria Greengrass came to the table with poor Daphne Greengrass trying to pull her back. "Morning Draco, I wondered if you wanted to take a walk with me?" She asked smiling and batting her eyelashes at him.
Like earlier he scrunched his nose up. "No," he said simply as her face fell. "If you need a babysitter to talk you outside as your sister."
She giggled but stood up tall and pushed her chest out. "You're so funny. Actually," she bit her lip. I was thinking we wouldn't need a chaperone. A bit of alone time just -"
Draco slammed down his spoon. "Did you hit your head or something?" She looked a little surprised but he didn't stop there. "You are a child and I am not interested in whatever game you are playing. I've never been interested in you, you bloody delusional idiot!"
