After lunch, they met up with the others in the entry hall. Pansy and Theo were headed to Hogsmeade and Maddi and Blaise had a study session with Neville for Herbology as Hermione and Ron went off on their arranged date.
"Well losers, I guess there's nothing worth hanging round here for," Dracos scoffed heading off for the stairs.
"Where are you going?" Pansy asked.
"To my room. Everyone's leaving and I don't fancy spending my afternoon watching her ferret prance around. " Draco shrugged.
It pissed Astra off when he spoke like that. "Actually I am going to Hogsmeade to the pet store and the bookshop."
"So you've nothing to do this afternoon?" Theo smirked.
"Why?" Draco looked fearful.
"You can come with us. Daphne has been third wheeling us for weeks and you can keep her company." Theo said. "Oi Daph! Draco is coming too."
Draco shrugged as Blaise and Maddi looked to Astra to see her reaction. She pretended to looking her bag for her purse. "Sure, Daph is hot! Might as well spend it with someone good looking."
Daphne skipped towards the group. "Oh good. I will be glad of the company." She smiled. "Long time no see Draco," she flirted.
"You look good Daphne," Draco winked. Instead of offering his arm he held out his hand for her and she took it. He looked to Astra.
Who tried to pretend she wasn't jealous. "Ok, I gotta go. I have a shopping list to get. Maddi, Blaise say hi to Neville for me. You four enjoy your date." She waved and headed off out the front door wrapping her scarf around her as she went.
She could hear the other four behind her. "She is Astra right? She seems lovely." Daphne said.
"She is," Theo said. "Our Angel."
"I have made it my mission to find her love," Pansy added.
Draco almost fell over at that. "You have?" He asked shocked.
"Yeah she helped me and Theo get-together and I know she wants someone. She would make the best girlfriend. I just need to find her someone worthy."
"You know," Daphne said. "Elijah is always talking about her. And that student teacher who was in the year above us - Wez."
"They do?" Theo asked sounding impressed. "Wez is a great guy. Loves books just as much as she does."
"As if she would ever go for one of them," Draco scoffed. "And I'm sure they have taste."
That was Astra's cue to walk faster and Auror walking with behind and trying to not look suspicious or like he was following her. She took her music player out of her bag - a gift from Hermione and put her headphones on pressing play and drowning out the others and she walked happily into the village.
Her first point of call was the pet store where she ordered more food for Atlas, bought a book on ferrets and bought him a little blue collar with a pendent with the map of the world on it which seemed fitting.
Next she went to the Quidditch store and bought a present for little Teddy for Christmas as well as a present for Remus and Sirius. It was only November but she wanted to get started early.
Next stop was to buy new pens and a notebook as well as ink and quills as not all teachers liked the use of pens.
She was thoroughly enjoying her afternoon, in no rush but browsing the shop windows. She still wasn't used to having money. It seemed very odd to her.
In Honeydukes she bumped into Draco and Daphne, his arm around her buying her liquorice wands. She went to the other side of the shop and ordered some sugar quills and candies.
