TW// fainting, injury, hospital
Chan looked around. He couldn't see anything It was pitch black. He felt something on his face. He reached up and felt a bandage covering his eyes and most of the top of his head. It came back to him in a flash.
A week earlier
Chan was excited. He was going to see Stay for the first time since the quarantine started. He was getting last minute touch ups on his makeup and hair and was about to go on stage.
After the concert, Chan felt dizzy but he attributed it to the lights from the concert shining in his eyes for the last hour and a half. As they were getting ready to leave, Felix came over to him. "Are you feeling okay?" he asked.
"I'm fine, Chan responded. "I need to get some work done."
"Don't work too hard," Felix told him before going over to his stuff, picking it up and heading towards the door. A few minutes later Chan left as well.
As Chan started heading down the long staircase outside, he fainted. Felix, already in the car, saw everything. When Chan reached the bottom he ran to him. He whipped out his phone and dialed 119. The ambulance came a few minutes later taking Chan and Felix with them. The rest of Stray Kids quietly got into the car and followed behind.
They all went to the waiting room and found a crying Felix. "He's in surgery," he said. "They are trying to save his eyes. They got scratched on his way down."
They all gave Felix a hug. They knew he was the closest out of all of them to their leader. An hour later the doctor came out and told them that he would be okay. His eyes would be fine and, although he had a concussion, it wasn't severe. He had a broken wrist as well. He had fainted from lack of sleep.
The doctor brought them back to Chan's hospital room. Chan was still unconscious. As the night grew late the members left one by one until only Felix remained. JYP released an official statement and a week later, Chan woke up. Felix had not left his side the whole time.
Present
Chan heard a sniffling to his side. "What's wrong Felix?" he asked. Felix looked up. "You're up!" he said. Chan was confused. "Why is there a bandage over my eyes? I only fell!"
"You scratched your eyes and had to have surgery," Felix explained. He gently stepped forward and hugged him. "I'm glad you're awake."
Just then the doctor came in. He changed the bandage and checked Chan's vitals before asking why he didn't have enough sleep. "Insomnia" came the simple answer.
The doctor prescribed melatonin and left the room. Felix cuddled into Chan and fell asleep. Chan tried to fall asleep but couldn't so he just lay there thinking.
Two weeks later Chan was released. Felix brought him home and made sure he was okay. The members had prepared a welcome home party for him. Chan was just happy have his eyesight, to be back home with Felix and the members, and to be able to see Stay again after his long hospital visit. He couldn't wait to get back onstage.
A/N I'm sorry it's a day late. Yesterday was the last day of classes before spring break and it was a bit hectic. I'm going to put in an alarm on my phone so hopefully next week I'll remember
