Based on a true story
"Mommy," little Jungkook called. "Where are you?"
"I'm on my way. I'll be home soon," Jin said over the phone. "Is Daddy home? Can you give him the phone?"
Jungkook waddled down the hallway to bring Namjoon the phone before going to the kitchen to try to make himself something to eat.
He tried to reach the second shelf of the fridge but he was too short. Just the Taehyung came running in followed by Jimin and knocked Jungkook over.
Jungkook started to cry bringing a cranky twelve year old Yoongi out of his room. "Make him stop crying," he glared at Taehyung and Jimin, "or I will tell Mom that you were running in the house. The two immediately went to comfort Jungkook and Yoongi went back to his room.
Jin came in a few minutes later to see Jimin, Jungkook, and Taehyung playing quietly on the kitchen floor. He went to check on Yoongi and found Hoseok there trying to get him out of bed.
"No! Go away! Let me sleep!"
Hoseok wasn't having it. He dragged Yoongi out of bed and turned around to find Jin. He dropped Yoongi's hand and ran to Jin. "You're home Mommy!"
Yoongi looked up. "Hi mom," he said. He stood up and walked out of the room. He sat on the couch and put on the TV. Hoseok gave up and joined the younger three in the kitchen. Yoongi fell asleep on the couch.
Eventually Jimin got bored of the game and suggested hide and seek. He started counting while Hoseok, Taehyung, and Jungkook went to hide.
He found Hoseok right away from his giggle and his feet sticking out from behind the curtain. He found Taehyung under his bed. He tried to find Jungkook but fifteen minutes later and he still had no luck.
"Mommy," he called. "Have you seen Jungkook?"
"No, I haven't. Keep looking for him. He'll turn up. I'm going to start dinner now.
"Daddy," Jimin asked Namjoon. "Have you seen Jungkook?" Namjoon shook his head.
Jut then a scream came from the kitchen and everyone ran. There, in the bottom shelf of the fridge, lay an unconcious Jungkook.
Jimin started crying and Jin was frozen in place. Namjoon quickly called an ambulance and they came within moments, Namjoon went with them to the hospital.
Jin hired a babysitter and followed. The rest of the children were scared and worried about their little brother. They sat until they fell asleep on the couch.
Jungkook was hooked up to oxygen in the ambulance but no longer needed it once they reached the hospital. They checked his vitals and turned to Namjoon and Jin.
"It's a good thing you found him when you did," the doctor said. "Any longer and he would have been a goner.
Jungkook woke up about a half hour later and looked at Jin. "Did I win Mommy?" he asked. Jin smiled at him "Yes you did baby." Jungkook smiled and closed his eyes falling back to sleep.
He was brought home the next day and ran Inside to play. Everyone was happy to see Jungkook was okay and Jimin never played hide and seek again.
