"What are you doing Hana?"
"I'm choosing a pictuwe to cowow."
"it's time to go visit your uncles."
"Uncwe Yuyu?"
"Yes. Uncle Yuyu, Uncle Yongie, Uncle Tae, Uncle Youngie, Uncle Woo, Uncle Markie, and Uncle Channie."
"We go now!" Hana demanded running to get her new shoes and attempting to put them on herself.
Johnny was a single father taking care of his three year old daughter, Hana. His wife had passed away in childbirth leaving Johnny by himself to care for the baby.
The babies uncles, Johnny's friends, had helped him to raise her and care for her. He had gotten this far because of them. He was great full for them and for his daughter every day. His daughter made him happy and fulfilled.
"let's go Hana."
Hana jumped up and waddled over to her father. "Uppy." Johnny picked her up and went outside.
They arrived at the house they were headed to and knocked on the door. Yuta stuck his head out. "Uncwe Yuyu!" Hana yelled excitedly.
"How are you my adorable cutie pie Hana?"
"m good. Wanna pway Wif Uncwe Yuyu."
"Let's go play." Turning to Johnny he said. "Only Mark is here so far. Are you ready?" Johnny nodded.
"Uncwe Mawkie!" Hana exclaimed running to jump on his lap. "Hey Hana. Do you want to play?" Hana nodded eagerly. Mark and Yuta sat down on the floor. Soon Taeyong. Taeil, Doyoung, Jaehyun, Jungwoo, and Haechan were there and playing with Hana and having fun with each other.
After two hours of playing, Doyoung and Jaehyun put Hana to bed.
"Lay down Hana," Doyoung said.
"No wanna. Wanna pway."
"We'll play later if you go to sleep now."
"Weawy Uncwe Woo?"
"Really."
"Night Uncwe Youngie. Night Uncwe Woo."
Fuve minutes later Hana was asleep. "The kid is a cutie," Jungwoo said when the two came back to the living room.
"I hope it works out," Taeil said. "Johnny deserves to be happy."
"Let's see how it works out," Jaehyun said.
"I'm going to go home now. It was great spending time with you guys. I need to sleep." Haechan stood up, put on his shoes, and left. Jungwoo and Taeil followed him out.
Mark looked at Yuta. "Can you order something to eat?" He asked.
"What do you want?"
"Pizza!" Taeyong yelled before covering his mouth. "Oops. I hope she didn't wake up." They listened for a minute but didn't hear anything and resumed their conversation.
"So, pizza?" Everyone nodded. Yuta ordered and around twenty minutes later, the pizza came. Johnny came in two minutes after that.
"How was she?" He asked..
"She listened very well when we told her it was bedtime," Doyoung told him, "and we all had fun playing with her."
"Thank you for watching her."
"No problem. You can bring her over anytime."
"How did your date go?" Asked Jaehyun. "I liked her. I want to meet her again. Thank you for introducing her to me."
"Anything for you Johnny," Mark interrupted him. "We want you to be happy."
"I really appreciat you guys."
Johnny went to get Hana and carried her home before placing her in her bed and kissing her on the cheek. "You might have a new mommy soon if all goes well," he whispered.
The next morning, Uncles Nana and Nono came to watch Hana while Johnny went to work.
"Uncwe Nana sit on couch, Uncwe Nono sit on fwoow and we pway." Hana waddled over to her dolls and gave one to Hana and one to Nana. "Daddy Nana. Uncwe Nono you be bwove. Me be's sistaw." They played house like that for a little while before Hana decided to play hide and seek.
Hana lay down on the couch to close her eyesbso she could count while Jeno and Jaemin hid.
After twenty minutes of hiding, Jeno came out to see what had happened only to find Hana asleep on the couch. He got Jaemin and brought her to her bed. Later that night, when Johnny got home and Jaemin and Jeno had left, Johnny dressed Hana up in her favorite dress, put on her best shoes, and pulled her hair back, putting it in pigtails.
"Do you want to meet someone?" He asked his daughter.
"A new fwiend?" She asked.
"Maybe." Johnny's eyes sparkled. He knelt down to be eye level with Hana. "Do you want a mommy?"
Hana's eyes lit up. "I can get a mommy?" She asked excitedly.
Johnny nodded. "Do you want to meet her?" Hana ran to the door, trying to open it. Johnny laughed. "Let's go."
A few minutes later that arrived at the park.
"Johnny," someone called. He turned around and there she was. "Areum."
"this is your daughter?"
Johnny nodded. "She's so cute!"
"You be my mommy?" Hana asked. "Do you want me to be?" Hana nodded eagerly. "Then yes, I will be your mommy."
The three of them got closer and soon after, Johnny asked the question. The wedding was a few months later. Taeyong, Taeil, Yuta, Doyoung, Ten, Jaehyun, Jungwoo, Mark, and Haechan were groomsmen, Winwin was the ring bearer, Jaemin, Yangyang, Shotaro, Sungchan, Chenle, Jisung, and Hana were flower "girls", Kun and Xiaojun gave a speech, and Lucas, Hendery, Renjun, and Jeno prepared a dance for the groom.
Johnny was happy. He had a wife. Hana was happy because she had a mommy. Everyone else was happy because the new family was happy. Everyone lived happily and joyously. It was a great new start.
