I guess I'm finally ending the adventures of Jin-woo and Jeong Ji-Soo. I've reread Solo Leveling like 5 times now at this point. I will forever love that man. For those who loved this book, please read some of my others on my profile. Preferably, the more recent stories. I started this journey april 4 2021 and it finally ends on April 14 2025.
During dinner, it was the classic 21 questions game. They asked me a question, most of the time they were embarrassing, but I answered them with no hesitation. I'm their son's girlfriend after all. My name, family, and favorite part about their son. I guess Jin was more embarrassed than I was.
I did notice his fathers stared at me with a relaxing smile. I'm aware of the spoilers at the end of the light novel. His father pretends just like us. All for the sake of normality. Jin finally has his father back.
"Ma'am, let me help you." I grabbed mine and Jin's empty dishes to bring to the sink.
"You're our guest. I can't make you do something like this. You should go hang out with Jin-woo or Jinah." She took the dishes from me and continued as she was.
"I can do that at any time, plus it will go by faster with help." I grabbed a rag and dried them off, putting them down on the counter since I'm not meant to know where the dishes go. This is how we spent the next few minutes till I had to leave.
"Oh, darling, please do come back." I laughed as Jin walked me out of the house. His mother hugged me goodbye. Jinah and his father waved me off.
"Trust me, it will be hard to make me leave."
As days passed, Jin and I made a routine. We would meet up at school, live through this torture, I'll watch Jin during track practice, and at the end of the day, go to his house. I would hang out and help Jinah with school work, and we would play games that they had. There was a time we took Jinah to karaoke and arcades. Safe to say I became her favorite person.
Some kids in class made bets on how long we would last. We didn't try to hide our relationship. Even a group of boys who tried to make me leave him. I put an end to that.
And so it spread through the school, not to mess with us, Jin and I picking fights for the sake of the other when someone badmouths us. The power couple of the school.
Then years passed. Jin went into law enforcement, and I became a doctor. We figured that would make the best use of our abilities. As we climbed the ranks of our place of employment, it confirmed our decisions. Jin would raise the dead to question them, and I would use my abilities to cure the sick and secretly heal the injured.
