|CHAPTER XV|

There was only a day left before we got married. That day, like every other day, Louis and I spent much of our time together. It was just him and me, without Billy. It makes me feel more comfortable.

We spent the entire day in our new flat. It was ready, although we weren't going to move until the honeymoon. We had planned to have a dinner party for friends and family.

My relationship with Louis had gotten better, we hadn't fought since the start of the week. I knew he was so calm about being in control of me.

The marriage was going to go according to his wishes, he had nothing to fear. Louis also believed I was walking away from Harry. But even though I was away from him during that week, it wasn't because I wanted to, but because we had commitments.

While I spent the day away from home sorting out the last details of the wedding, Harry would go out with his siblings and take them to some really fun places. I remember Teresa talking to Becky about the circus on Monday, the museum on Tuesday and an experiment for Harry Potter fans on Wednesday. I wish I could have been a part of that too.

They went out to eat everyday so I barely saw Harry at lunch. But whenever I saw him around the house, we would stop for a while just to talk. It was long enough for me to make sure he was still around and not running away from me.

I still didn't know if anyone had mentioned the punch I gave Liam, I thought he probably already did. I even wanted to make a comment about that, but I wasn't comfortable.

There were a lot of details I wanted to discuss with Harry, but I was a bit afraid to talk about what I was feeling. I was confused about my feelings. I wasn't ready to admit things to myself, much less to him. And this is all about him.

That evening, Louis suggested a family game night. Usually these were card games and board games around a table full of drinks and snacks, which was fun. I even thought about participating, but when Jacob stood up to call Harry and invite him to play, Louis stopped him. He said that Harry was too busy taking care of Caleb and that the kid could interfere with the game.

I didn't like Louis's attitude and because of this, I decided to get off the couch and leave only.

"Where are you going?" he asked.

"I don't want to play. I'm going to rest in my room." I answered by going upstairs.

To my surprise, he seemed to understand and kept his mouth shut. Still, Billy, who was sitting next to him, continued to look at me. I could feel the falseness of that guy every time he laid eyes on me.

My intention wasn't to rest. I wanted to spend a bit of time with Harry and I knew he was in his bedroom with Caleb.

When I approached the door, I knocked twice until I heard his hoarse voice telling me to open the door. When I came in, I saw Harry sitting on the bed while stroking Caleb's hair, the boy was sleeping with his head on his brother's legs.
