| CHAPTER XXX |

"Zayn, open the door." Louis said as he knocked into the car window.

I could hear things smothered around me, like everything was slowly disappearing. I was paralyzed because I still didn't believe what I just read.

'That's not the best way to say it, and I hope you understand, but I want to end what we just started. I need time to get comfortable with the idea that we may never be the way we want to be. We are trapped in a curse that is part of me and I do not want it to affect you in any way. Just give me time, that's all I'm asking now.'

I've read this message five times, and I still don't believe it. Harry couldn't give me that, I love him so much. It hurt, so I started to cry. Louis kept yelling at me to open the door, but I wanted to be on my own.

"Leave me alone!" I yelled from the interior of the car.

"What the fuck is going on?"

I took a deep breath and decided not to answer his question. I had plans to take the first flight to Italy and handle all this shit.

From the moment I got out of the car, I could hear Louis' voice more clearly and he seemed desperate to get an answer. That caught the attention of a couple of people outside. I needed to recover, but the feeling was too painful to disguise my suffering.

"I need to go home. Get in the car." I asked Louis even though I didn't want to be in his company anymore.

"All right, but aren't you going to explain to me what's going on?" he asked, following me.

"No. Just go!"

Louis didn't say anything, he just approached the car while I was walking over to Mr. Bower's table.

"Here are the keys. Thanks."

"You're welcome." He smiled and quickly noticed how bad I was. "Are you okay? Do you need some water?"

"No! I'm fine." I said, taking a deep breath.

"Okay..." he didn't seem satisfied with my response. "But you don't look like you can make a speech."

"Yes, I really don't want to. So... please, do it for me, say anything that might come in and out of these people's ears. I'm on my way home."

I wanted to get rid of the conversation and of the noise around me. I just needed a moment alone to think about what I had to do.

"Okay. Go home then." Mr. Bower said before I left.

There were photographers all over the place and they came after me with questions and flashes. I swear I wish a car had crashed them all. I ignored the questions before getting in Louis' car.

"Why are you so upset? You look pretty bad." He asked on our way home.

"You ruined everything," I sighed.
