"Those who love deeply stop living in themselves and live in what they love" — Plato.

| WEEK ONE |
ART AND PHILOSOPHY

I sat in the middle of that auditorium all by myself. On the first day of the experience that was about to begin, I was the first class member to arrive. I couldn't wait to see Harry walk through the door and start teaching for a couple of hours. I was so excited.

These last few days, we had avoided seeing each other as we were still managing our feelings and preparing for this new proximity. We wanted it to be natural, so we allowed time to work on it.

I saw Harry walking in when I heard footsteps coming down the stairs of the auditorium. He had his macbook under his arm and a bag slung over his shoulder. That was the first time I saw him wearing glasses, he looked very charming.

"You're early." He said as he walked over to the main desk to set up his equipment.

"Yeah, I know." I said, shaking my feet under the chair.

"Excited?" He smiled as he sat down on the table.

"Very."

"I'm glad you're here." Harry muttered before other people arrived, preventing us from continuing a conversation.

Harry was getting ready to start the class as everyone took their seats. Since it was an experimental lecture and not a preparatory course, many of us were there just to acquire knowledge and nothing more. Still, there were individuals who had their notebooks and laptops on for notes. I was more focused on listening to my teacher, but I worried that I wouldn't pay much attention to learning because he was so beautiful that day that it was impossible to focus on anything else.

"Welcome." He said as soon as everyone in the auditorium took their seats and fell silent. "It is a pleasure to have you here today. My name is Harry, I am the founder of the gallery and I will be with you for the next fifteen days teaching about everything I know."

His voice and oratory were something I adored, he had a knack for keeping anyone's attention.

"In these first five days, we will study about Art and Philosophy. How they complement each other and the importance they both have for us as human beings in search of knowledge. Let's open our minds and debate about it, debate is very important." He said while writing the topic of that class on the whiteboard. Even his writing was gorgeous. "When discussing debate, it's important to mention Socrates, the great father of Western philosophy, who brought the importance of debates to his followers. Discussing different types of subjects and listening to opinions makes us acquire knowledge."

I hated philosophy in my teenage days studying at home, but listening to Harry's talk made it sound interesting. I would be very interested in anything he said.
