| CHAPTER XVI |

"Good morning."

Louis' voice woke me up. It took me a moment to open my eyes and realize I was in Liam's home. Only then did I begin to remember my last memories from last night.

We had a little party with friends and although I was still very angry with Liam, I managed to keep my composure all night long. I ended up drinking a lot.

"Good morning." I replied as soon as Louis kissed my lips.

"Are you ready for today? It's our big day."

"I'm ready." I said smiling, though it sounded strange.

"Billy and Liam made breakfast. We'll eat first, then we'll drive directly to the castle."

Sitting on the bed, I realised I was naked under the sheets. I remember sleeping with Louis last night, but I could not remember everything that happened, maybe I was too drunk. I decided I wouldn't drink that day because I wanted to keep memories of my own wedding.

"Isn't it too soon to go?" I asked when I got up to put on my clothes.

"One of the organizers asked us to check out the way the structure is being finalized. And I think it's even better this way, we can stay there and get ready to receive the guests."

I was okay with the plans, although I didn't want it to go so fast. But I had to picture Louis's excitement.

When we got down for breakfast, I saw there was another boy, a guy I hadn't seen before. Liam introduced him as a new friend, someone he would take on a marriage date. I could not deny that it was strange, it made no sense. Anyway, I didn't think it was such a big deal that he picked someone to pretend to be dating, at least he wouldn't be after Harry.

After breakfast, we went direct to the place. There, I was able to see the work of a large team that was responsible for implementing the entire structure. From the garden where the ceremony would be held, to the patio where the guests would remain for the party. Everything was very beautiful.

Tables and chairs, stereos and flowers. Everything looked lovely and not as exorbitant as I imagined.

But for Louis, things weren't going his way. The original plan was for all the guests to be taken to the ballroom at the castle. But he disliked this idea and required a sudden change of plans.

People had to stop working to make the new changes. Louis forced the employees to descend and climb several steps to another garden next to the castle. This was a sort of garden where guests could enjoy some of the sunny day.
