May 11, 1976.

Finney hates the fact that he can't talk to Robin, he had been ignoring him since they fought at Griffin's house and it had already been a week, that was too much, even for them that their longest fight lasted two hours and it was for a movie.

He understands that they are like this because of him, but he thought of nothing more than saving Griffin and he was selfish with Robin.

At school he must have a little more luck, because Robin can't ignore him as deliberately as he can on the phone or at his house.

He passes Griffin at the entrance and asks if he was okay before they went in together. Luckily for Finney, Grabber didn't come near them again, nor did he give any indication that he would, but he still hasn't let his guard down, because if he tried once, there may be a second.

Besides Robin, Grabber has been on his mind more consistently. The man was angry that Finney screwed up Griffin's kidnapping and he knows full well what happens when Grabber is angry. Finney doesn't want to think about the possibility of Grabber making a small change and taking him first, ruined his desire to torture an innocent child, that may be reason enough for he to want to kill him.

"I swear, the movie was crap!" Griffin says, walking past Finney, straight to his locker.

Finney laughs and agrees with Griffin, he had seen that movie he was talking about earlier with Robin. And here he was again thinking about him...

These last few days, he had been hanging out with Griffin and had discovered that the boy was a bit more outgoing than he seemed, he also had a rather dirty mouth and Finney found it very amusing. Robin is just as foul-mouthed, only he swears in Spanish most of the time.

"Will you try to talk to Robin again?" Griffin asks, stopping in front of his locker.

"I hope so, if it doesn't work, I'll climb through he window at night and he'll have no excuse not to listen to me. He won't leave he own house."

Griffin agrees as he laughs and takes his history books out of his locker. Griffin hated history, but he loved chemistry. Robin loves history and hates any subject that has numbers... And that's it, Finney Blake, stop thinking about him!

As they head to class, Finney is fidgeting with his hands, today was Friday and he had class with Robin, so as long as he doesn't sit with anyone else (which is unlikely) Finney has an excuse to talk to him.

But when Finney says goodbye to Griffin and walks into the room, Robin isn't there. All week he was looking for him, but he never found him and now that he thinks about it, maybe Robin didn't come to school all week...

Sitting in his seat, now vacated by Robin, Finney can't help feeling sick and tired, maybe from everything that happened with Grabber or his fight with Robin, maybe everything. Stress and exhaustion were taking their toll now that things were calmer, and Finney just fell asleep in one of his favorite classes...
