During the very first fucking day at Hope's Peak, the students of Class 79 D always had known who their teacher is. Somehow for Xander and David, this teacher is very much a familiar face to them at this point.
It's Ms. Rumi Narukami herself.
When she was younger, Rumi was known for being a rather skilled conductor. She's also really experienced when it comes to music. Even so, she's not exactly that skilled at some instruments, like the zither for example. When Rumi saw Hu Jing play it so gracefully, she couldn't help but feel amazed and proud of her.
"Such amazing skills! I'd love it if you can teach me someday!" Rumi said at the time, which took Hu by surprise, but she decided to let it be and promised Rumi that she'll teach her how to play the zither one day.
Rumi seems really energetic around her students, but would always be quick to act when she sees any of them making trouble. Like how she caught Arei bullying a random student once. "Young lady! You do NOT say stuff like that to others! Apologize now!" Rumi scolded.
However, in the end, Arei being...well, Arei, didn't exactly say sorry. She fake cried about how Rumi was so mean to her, to the point where even Rumi herself thought she hurt the girl's feelings and apologize. Once Arei exclaimed the words, "Okay! I'm feeling better now~!", that just made Rumi really furious, finally realizing Arei faked her crying this whole time. Levi managed to calm her down and not make her absolutely fucking explode, however.
David and Xander are too familiar with Rumi at this point, so is there even any point for this chapter to exist?
