It was a over a week after Seiten agreed to work together with Setsuna, and during that time, they learn rather....shocking information."Hayato Matsuzaka isn't dead nor he's in a different area in Japan. Hell, he's not even in a foreign country out there."
That was what Selene told them in Setsuna's first meeting with them. They were all shocked to hear this, especially Hibiki, who remembered in the previous era that Montaro mentioned to her about an old friend by that same name. She was shocked to hear he didn't decided to unalive himself five years ago.
When asked by Rumi how the leader knew about this information, Selene's answer was;
"I saw someone the other day who had the same appearance as him. Magenta hair, purple eyes, the hair is a bit long, right?"
Hibiki replied to that question with a simple yes, and Selene carried on with her explanation.
"I decided that he seems suspicious enough, so I followed him until he got home. His house is pretty big, I'd mistaken it as a mansion, honestly."
Ever since that meeting, the Seiten members and Setsuna were determined enough to probably visit Hayato and ask him if he knows anything about Alicia. Setsuna also notes that Yume also mentioned him in that dream she had that time, so the Seiten members used that as some kind of clue, even if Selene doesn't exactly believe in the kid that much.
Eventually, on a Saturday afternoon, some of the time-leapers decided to finally go visit Hayato. Selene decided that her trustworthy companions for this occasion would be Xander and Yoshiki, and so they venture off to the more secluded part of Tokyo to Hayato's place.
Once they got there, they noticed that there's a gate blocking them from entering the house. Xander looked around to see if he could find anything useful around the area, and eventually, he found two guards infront of the gates. "Ah, guys. Let's go ask them if we can come in." He told them.
The three made their way to the two guards, and for some reason, the rebel decided to be more...cocky, today. "Why hello, fine gentlemen! May I ask one simple question?" Xander asked, starting up the conversation with so much newfound pride in him. Seeing this, Selene only scoffed and rolled her eyes in annoyance, while Yoshiki only remained silent.
"Ah, yes. You may." One of the guards said, nodding that the red head. "Alright! So! Can me and my friends come in?" Xander then asked, gesturing to the gates infront of the big house. The two guards turned their heads to look at it, before turning their heads back to Xander.
"I'm sorry, but have you scheduled or planned some sort of meeting with Master Hayato?" The second guard asked. That's when Xander froze, but in the end, he decided to tell the truth either way.
"W-well, no. But it's just a casual visit! We swear!!" He told the guards. The guards looked at him with a sort of judging look on their faces, before one of them sighs. "Ugh, if that's the case, sorry, but Master Hayato always plans or schedules meetings, and you three are being a bit...suspicious right now." Guard 1 stated, crossing his arms.
"What?! Geez, my friend Xander over here told you straight at your faces that it's just a casual visit! Nothing too big! It's not like we're criminals or something!" Selene shouted at the guards in anger. "Sorry, ma'am, but-"
"Today is your birthday, wow wow, wow wow, happy birthday- Today is your birthday..."
Suddenly, Guard 2's phone rings. The time-leapers could see the visible blush on his face as he quickly picked it up and answered the call. "Y-yes-?" He stuttered out in embarrassment.
