Chapter 18: A Mysterious Message

That morning, Seito received a mysterious message from someone by the name 'Sena'.

That morning, Seito decided to open up Hopecord to see if he got any new messages or not, and it turns out...

"....No." He muttered. He then double-checked, just to make sure he didn't miss anything. However, as he does that, a message pops up from someone. "Eh-? Now who's this?" He asked himself, opening up the notification to reveal the message.

The message was pretty long, it felt like a whole ass paragraph, but at least whoever typed out all of this knew how to put spaces in between the paragraphs. The person who sent this message seemingly goes by the name 'Sena', and Seito doesn't remember knowing anyone by the name Sena.

The man decided to just read the whole message thoroughly. The message read;

"Hello, good morning/afternoon/evening/night, whenever and wherever you're reading this.

First things first, I would like to address that Sena isn't my real name. It's just a stupid cover-up name I came up with on the spot. But that's not the point here, just know that in here, I'm Sena.

Cutting to the chase, I've noticed that we have some things in common in a way, which is us being time-leapers. I personally want to get to know you and your group better, because I'm fully aware that maybe with us being time-leapers, we can work together in some way. I know this sounds really sketchy, but I promise, I don't mean any harm!

Maybe we can meet up tomorrow noon in the 'Cozy & Warm Cafe'? I'm thinking maybe around 1 PM, if you'd like. You don't have to bring anyone with you! Just you coming to meet-up with me is enough. I don't mind if you bring anyone with you, though!

I guess with that, I'm done here. Have a great/night, Silverwing! ^^

After reading the whole letter, Seito was only left with curiosity. He was a bit shaken up to learn the fact that this person know that he's a time-leaper, but at the same time, he's rather suspicious too.

'I guess I'll have to talk about in today's meeting.'

"A message? From an unknown individual?"

That's what Wolfgang asked Seito once he brought up the topic of the message in Seiten's weekly meeting. Seito nodded. "Yeah, here, read it for yourself, everyone." He said, turning his laptop around so the screen was facing the other members.

On the screen, displays the message from earlier this morning, from this 'Sena' person. Everyone read it, carefully processing the contents of the message. Once everyone was done, a short silence came.

"....Ahem. So...this Sena person wants you to meet up with them?" Xander asked Seito, breaking the silence completely. "Yes. They said I could go alone, but they don't mind if I bring someone with me." Seito explained.

"Wait, but just who is Sena exactly? We don't know shit about them, we don't know how the fuck they could access Hopecord and be able to message you, and we don't know what their intentions behind this 'meet-up' are." Arthesia explained, seemingly deep in thought.

After awhile of thinking, the pastel blue haired girl giggled. "Hehe, maybe a bit of finding where they live and their IP address and maybe we'll be able to find out who exactly they are!" She announced happily, causing David to jolt up in shock from what she said.

"A-ah...!!! Uh, Thesia, maybe doxxing someone isn't a good idea." He told the girl, who only sighed sadly, hanging her head low. "....No, no no no, she's right, though! What if Sena works together with Fukushu? What if Sena IS a member of Fukushu? Or- WAIT NO NO NO! What if....Sena IS Alicia?!" Hibiki asked, slamming her hand on the wooden table.

"Wh- HEY! THAT'S A TABLE THAT MY DAD BOUGHT TWO YEARS AGO! MIND YOUR FUCKING BUSINESS!" Seito yelled, but everyone ignored him. "....Doesn't matter. I'm gonna go meet up with this 'Sena' tomorrow. Who's gonna come with me?" David asked with no hesitation, standing up from his seat. "Me! Lemme come! I wanna know who Sena exactly is." Xander exclaimed, raising his hand up to the air.

"I'll also be coming!" Toshiko volunteered in a cheery voice. "....Coming too." Arthesia said, raising her hand up a little, but not as high as Xander did. "Alright, anyone else?" David said, nodding, before turning to everyone else.

Everyone else was silent.

"...Alright. I guess it's Xanxan, Thesia, Toshi, and I then." David said, sitting back down. If they need to find out who this Sena is, then they'll have to meet them in person.
