Chapter 37: Glitched Pink

Something really fucked up just happened to Arthesia.

"A-Arthesia...? W-what happened to you...?!" Yoshiki asked, feeling his body shaking in fear. The girl in question giggled.

"Why...If it isn't the peasant, Yoshi~ Nothing in particular happened to me. I feel like I've always been the same since the beginning." She replied in a casual tone. "P-peasant-?!" Yoshiki repeated in disbelief.

The realm around them vividly glitches around them, but the appearance of the realm itself doesn't change whenever the glitching stops. That's what Rumi first pieced together. But then again, that's the most useless info Rumi could store in her head. What matters right now is to deal with whatever abomination Arthesia has become.

Rumi turned her head to look at Arthesia and finally took note of her appearance. Instead of having blue hair, Arthesia has pink hair instead. One of her eyes is a darker shade of pink, and her clothes are rather different too.

(Don't mind me using gacha for this bullshit. I literally also used gacha for the prequel to this book so don't even DARE call me a cringe gacha kid.)

"Thesia, quit this shit. What the fuck are you trying to do?" Rumi asked. Arthesia looks at the teacher as if her presence alone annoys the shit out of the girl. "Shut the fuck up." That was Arthesia's only response, before she snaps her fingers, summoning even more glitches that glitches over to Setsuna's right leg.

"Ack-! What the hell?! Why does that hurt so much...?!" She yelled out. "What the- Oh god these things are dangerous. You two! Try your best to dodge these glitches!" Rumi exclaimed. The two younger time-leapers nodded.

Rumi sighed. "Alright, if a fight is what you want, then a fight is what you get." She said, summoning her bow and arrow. Yoshiki also summons his machine guns, while Setsuna summons her catalyst book.

The three then ran towards the girl as quickly as they could, but just when they finally almost reached her, she glitched out of the way. "Where did she go?!" Rumi asked, looking around.

Yoshiki looked to his back, and his eyes widened. "Ah! Ms. Ruru, watch out!" He shouted. Rumi turned around, seeing Arthesia, who just glitched right behind her to try to attack her. "Hmph, and just when I was about to do a super cool sneak attack, but you really had to ruin it for me." The girl complained, before snickering.

"That's fine, you might need this, though!" She added, snapping her fingers and summoning a bunch of weird, glitched out creatures. "O-oh god....That's a lot..." Setsuna commented. "D-don't worry! I'm sure we'll beat them without getting hurt one bit." Rumi assured her, but even she isn't sure about her own words.

The three Seiten members then fought against Arthesia's army of weird glitched out creatures. It took them awhile to get rid of them all, but in the end, they managed to do it. Furious, Arthesia summoned more of them. "What the- ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS?!" Yoshiki yelled in disbelief, already losing his shit the more this goes on.

"Oh my fucking god. If you really wanna fight us, THEN GET THE FUCK OVER HERE, AND FIGHT US YOURSELF INSTEAD OF SUMMONING A BUNCH OF STUPID FUCKING CREATURES! YOU IDIOT!" He rambled on, before Rumi puts a hand on his shoulder and shook her head.

"We can handle this. Maybe Thesia's just being a pussy this time. I'm sure she'll go one-on-one with us after this." She said, and the two of them along with Setsuna fought against the creatures.

Eventually they got rid of all of them, and now they're faced with Arthesia at last. "Ugh, can't believe you guys are strong enough to take on all of them. Whatever, it's not like I care, L.M.A.O.~" She said, the last part literally throwing Yoshiki off-guard.
