It has been almost two weeks since they found Arthesia. For the sake of her own sanity, Arthesia didn't attend the meeting Seiten held the week after they found her.

It's a normal Wednesday on a summer afternoon, and Xander decided to hang out with David for the day. Why? I don't know why, just ask Xander.

Anyways, Xander did took David to a cafe of sorts and took him to the town park too, but now they wanted to go elsewhere for their little hangout. As they were walking down the streets of the city, Xander saw something in the corner of his eyes and decided to go to it. "Huh? Xander! Where are you going?!" David called out, running after the rebel.

Once the inspirational speaker finally caught up to the red head, however, he found something else with him.

"Mr. David! Look! Little baby kitties!" Xander said excitedly, holding one of them in his hands gently. David was....a bit stunned, not gonna lie. 'So....he found....cats????' That's what he thought in absolute disbelief.

Shaking those thoughts out of his head, David walked over to Xander and kneeled down beside him. "Aren't they cute?" The rebel asked. The inspirational speaker chuckled. "Yeah, they're cute."

The baby cats constantly meowed as they hurdle over to David. "....I wonder where their parents--or at least their mom--is." He said. "Huh, you're right. Where is their mom?" Xander asked, looking around the area to see any presence of an adult cat anywhere.

"Oh, their mom died a few days ago." A voice answered. "W-wha-?!" Xander yelled out, startled as he whipped around, one of the baby cats still on his hands. David, too, was startled by the presence of a third person. Turns out it was--

'Holy moly, Ms. Yume?!'

'....This ugly ass bitch?'

....Xander and David's thought respectively.

Yume looked at them for a moment, before she giggled. "Ahaha, sorry about that, you two. I shouldn't have randomly sneaked up on you both like that." She said, a warm smile on her face.

"Oh, uh, yeah, hi." Xander greeted awkwardly, and David only glared daggers at the girl. The girl kneeled down behind them, her smile still intact. However, once she notices how David looks at her, her smile immediately was replaced by a serious look on her face.

"Right, you both have any updated on Fukushu?" She asked. "Not yet, but one of Seiten's members kinda joined Fukushu because of getting an offer." Xander replied. Yume gasped. "The fuck?! Really?!" She asked, and David sighed before nodding.

"What an idiotic girl. I literally assigned her to be a time-leaper because of trust, y'know? I can't believe she decided to just waste that title to join the enemy group instead." The celebrity complained. "She's back in Seiten now, though." David confirmed.

"Oh." That was Yume's only response before they were all trapped in an awkward silence.

"Ugh, can't believe that stupid Yume girl decided to interrupt our time together." David complained to the phone, and a giggle from his sister, Diana, came from the other side of the call.

"I guess she just so happened to have walked in on the both of you. What were you and Xander doing, anyway?" Diana asked. "We were just looking at a bunch of baby kittens until she came in and told us that their mom is dead." David replied, and then silence came from Diana's side of the call.

"....O-oh. Well, rest in peace to the kitten's mom, I guess...?" Diana commented, and David sighed. "It was a few days ago, Diana, please." "Well it still doesn't hurt to say such a thing, right? God, you're so heartless."

"...Shut up, Diana. You're literally lucky that I still care about you." David said. He was kinda telling the truth. Diana's literally the only person he tolerates being around with. He's comfortable enough to let his mask slip up infront of her. Hell, he's comfortable enough to let his true self show infront of her. She's fine with it too, anyway, so there's no harm.

"Haha, I guess I am. Anyways, I don't think I have much time to talk for tonight. I have a lot of college work, y'know, the usual stuff." Diana replied. "Ah, I see. Well alright, I guess. Go on and do your work. It's not like I have much to say tonight, anyway." David said in a careless manner.

"Alrighty then. Good luck on your little affair with that Xander guy~" Diana jokingly said, catching her brother off-guard. "Wh- DIANA!" He yelled at her, but she already had ended the call on him. "...Shit..." He cursed.

"That idiot Diana. It's not like I actually care about Xander. I only agreed to hang out with him because I wouldn't wanna disappoint him since I'm his supposed idol...." David muttered, before groaning. "Goddamnit! Yume literally gave him every single memory on what happened in that fucking killing game from start to end. He obviously would know my true colors by now!"

...

"....So why...Why does he still care? He'd hate me by now, right?" He asked himself. "Fuck. I shouldn't be thinking stuff like this. It's wasting my precious time. I'll just....go to bed."
