Stupid

A feeling that Donghyuck had during this dilemma he was in. Now that he thought about, doing this was not the best idea.

But it was too late now.

Donghyuck was squirming in the person's hold, his phone being stepped on by his own foot which made it break.

'Think, Donghyuck. Think!' He nagged at himself.

He could not believe he actually convinced himself to do something like this just to get back at his soulmate.

It was a dangerous world out there and There Donghyuck goes, risking his life for someone who probably was not even worth it.

'You're so stupid!' Donghyuck scolded himself, kicking a foot back to hit the person's shin with his heel.

The person, Donghyuck could tell was some older man, hissed in pain and tightened his grip on the tanned male's jaw while his other hand slapped him across the face.

Donghyuck's face stung from the hit, his cheek more than likely displaying a light red hand print on it. He winced as the man laughed in his face.

If the man thought he was going to get over on Donghyuck that easily, he was sadly mistaking. Donghyuck was a fighter, not someone who gave up.

He may not have one his high school fights, but he did not just let them walk all over him either.

Donghyuck grunted as he aggressively tried to turn himself around, but was stuck. An idea struck his brain as he lifted his arm, craning it back to jam his elbow into the man's stomach.

That loosened the grip on Donghyuck's jaw, allowing the tanned male to push himself free from his grasp and begin running.

"Come here, you bitch!" The man yelled after resigning the breath that was knocked out of him from the gut hit.

Donghyuck kept running, looking back and not even paying attention as he collided with a strong body—his face pounding against someone's chest while their hands grabbed their shoulders.

Donghyuck's breathing was uneven as he was about to fight his way out of the grasp, looking up to meet the eyes of a man that he was afraid yet wanting to see.

Mark.

Donghyuck did not know if it was the soulmate bond or what but he felt a wave of vulnerability standing in front of Mark with big eyes as he whimpered with fear.

Mark sharpened his eyes and attempted to soften them for the sake of Donghyuck, not wanting to scare him even more but the older was angry.

He carefully pulled Donghyuck behind his back as he approached the man, his expression darkening. Donghyuck did not want to get in the middle of anything so he stayed put behind his soulmate where he would be safer.

"Here for your soulmate, huh? You got a feisty one," The man taunted as Donghyuck flinched, hearing the man speak about him. How did he knew that he was Mark's soulmate. What was going on?

"He's my soulmate. Why wouldn't he be?" Mark growled, his voice sending chills down Donghyuck's spine.

He had never seen Mark act like this before. This was a whole new side of the older that Donghyuck never met and it made Donghyuck wonder how many more sides of Mark were there?

"Woah there. No need to get all pissy," The man chuckled as Mark dug for something in pocket that made Donghyuck curious.

"Cover your eyes," Mark turned his head over his shoulder, warning Donghyuck who was frozen. "Now."
