Mark eventually stopped crying after a few moments, though he still was not really himself and Donghyuck observed that very well.

He felt terrible...first he loses his own mother in front of his own eyes and then he has to kill his own father.

Donghyuck could cry for Mark, but he had to keep himself together for the older and be there for him just like Mark is there for him.

They slowly pulled away from the hug as Mark swiped the younger's slightly bruised lip with his thumb causing Donghyuck to hiss.

"You okay, angel?" Mark examined Donghyuck's body as the younger nodded.

"My lips just miss you that's all," Donghyuck attempted to lighten the mood as he saw Mark's smile attempt to show.

Mark softly placed his hand delicately underneath Donghyuck's soft chin, pushing his face to the younger's before ever gently gluing their lips together.

The rest of their cuts and bruises on their skin were healing during the kiss until it was not there anymore.

Mark tilted his head and deepened the kiss, it was slow not so innocent but it was filled with passion and devotion they wanted to portray each other.

Small little pants from Donghyuck blew out of his mouth which fanned over the older's lips, softly sucking on the younger's plump bottom lip and pulling it back before letting go and pulling away.

Donghyuck opened his eyes, blinking innocently in a daze at Mark who smile sweetly at him.

"Are you hungry, angel?" Mark asked.

Donghyuck nodded, "I'll make you food."

"I can do it," Mark insisted as Donghyuck cackled a bit.

"I'd rather you not," Donghyuck pecked Mark's shocked face on his cheek with a grin.

Mark pouted.

"So then let one of the guys make food. You should relax," Mark protested but Donghyuck shook his head and declined.

"Baby, you didn't even change since we got back," Mark exclaimed but Donghyuck gave a goofy smile.

Mark felt bad that Donghyuck was still in his mission gear, his bullet protection vest still on.

"You're more important," Donghyuck said with confidence, sliding off the table as he helped tie the older's hospital gown to cover his exposed skin.

Donghyuck pulled Mark's hand, guiding him off the table as he then laced their fingers together while exiting the recovery room to head to the kitchen.

Before Donghyuck could wash his hand in the kitchen sink, Mark turned him around and began unclipping the vest from the younger's body and pulling it off.

"I'll put this down in the base," Mark told him as the younger nodded and turned around to wash his hands while the older left.

After washing his hands, Donghyuck grabbed a pot and filled it with water after pouring and rinsing the rice inside of it.

He put it on the stove as he went into the fridge to take out meat and vegetables. He began seasoning and chopping before plopping them in a separate pan.

The meat and vegetables sizzled on the stove as he mixed them around with a fork.

Donghyuck felt hands snake around his waist and a chin on top of his shoulder as he was in the process of finishing cooking.

Mark was being very clingy, but Donghyuck did not mind it.

In fact, he loved it.

Donghyuck sunk his body further into Mark's grasp as he stirred the food on the stove.
