A few weeks have passed ever since my Ma died. My team won the Spring Nationals. I didn't join because I wasn't in the right mind to play. I've been going to work, though and doing Karate to get my mind off of things. Bakugou stays at my house a lot to give me company and to pull me up when I fall.
I was walking home after a long shift. "Help me!" I heard a scream. I ran towards the noise and found myself in an alleyway. There was this huge creature. Quirk. He was standing over a young woman. Quirkless. He was big and fat. Had multiple arms and eyes. I grabbed my bag and threw it at him. (Turn the music on) He looked back at me with a glare. "Get out of here!" I yelled and the lady ran off. "Why you!?" The creature yelled out and ran towards me.

He used all his arms and punched me in the gut, pushing me into the wall. The wall got a huge dent in it, and it felt like I broke my back.
"Pathetic! You think you're all that! But you're worthless! Have nothing! You probably lost everyone you loved as well! Such a loser! Little girl!" he started laughing. (Put the song at 3:10) I used all my strength and stood up with shaky legs. "You're wrong...I'm not pathetic!" I glared at him and he jumped. "The fuck!?" "Ahh! Ya!" I ran and kicked him in the head making him fall. I gripped his legs and threw him at the wall. I punched his face making blood fly all over my fists and face. He gripped my wrists and threw me off of him. I stood up with a bloody smirk and smirked at his frightened face.
Bakugou's POV: I was walking home with the group. We heard fighting sounds so we ran. "Guys! It's Marinette!" "Mari!" Mina ran in but Sero pulled her back. We all froze and stared at her. (Put the song at 4:55) It was like we were in slow motion. She was in slow motion. It was like she was in an edit. She stood up after defeating the bad guy with blood all over her body. She then kicked the guy in the face and yelled. "Such a loser!" She yelled and smirked down at him.
"That was badass!" Kaminari yelled and ran and hugged her. She winced but hugged him back. I looked at the guy on the floor. He was bruised and filled with blood. Marinette had blood on her face and fists.
