Team SAFF: A RWBY Story

The Ripper Part 1

As the sun rises over Argus, Fang and Hannah are seen walking on the sidewalk as they make their way to their destination with Hannah letting out a loud yawn.

Fang: Didn't sleep much?

Hannah: I slept fine. It's just I'm not a "get up at the buttcrack of dawn" kind of girl.

Fang: Cammie did ask us to meet her at the station first thing in the morning.

Hannah: Yeah, but why so early?

Citizen: Liars!

Fang and Hannah turn around the street corner to see the police station entrance being crowded by many protesters while Cammie and a few officers are trying to calm them down.

Fang: That's why.

Cammie: Please, everyone, we are doing the best we can but we need you all to calm down and go to your homes so the police can do their jobs.

Female Citizen: Oh and a good job they're doing, huh? Some of us are too scared to be out at night let alone try sleeping. The police aren't doing a darn thing about these murders.

Male Citizen: Yeah all you guys do is sit on your arses.

An officer pulls out a nightstick and starts waving it in the air.

Officer: Go back to your homes now! That's an order!

Male Citizen 2: Screw you!

Officer: Alright, that's it! You are under arrest!

Cammie: Stilinski, stand down now.

Stilinski: I don't take orders from ex-cons.

Cammie was taken aback by that as Hannah's eyes went from gold amber to a blood red. She then reaches for Momento Mori but is stopped when Fang grabs her arm and shakes his head. 

Hannah: Are we gonna do nothing?

Fang looks at Hannah before looking back at the crowd and pulls out Echo.

BANG!!!

The crowd goes quiet as they are startled by the sound of Fang firing Echo into the air. Fang and Hannah start walking forward to the crowd as they move out of his way, making a path to the station before stopping at Officer Stilinski.

Fang: Control yourself, officer. (turns to the crowd) Now that I have everyone's attention, please listen. I understand your distrust with the authorities, but let me reassure you that they have called me and my partner to assist with the investigation.

Woman: Who are you?

Fang: My name is Fang Sanguise. I am a Huntsman, and this is Hannah Dust. 

Distraught Mother: There are four women murdered and they choose now to call the Huntsman?

Fang: We had only arrived two days ago and we just found out about these killings. But rest assured, we will catch the one responsible. 

Woman: Jack.

The crowd turns to a woman with blonde hair and blue eyes while holding her baby boy in her arms.

Woman: Jack The Ripper. That is what he calls himself. He sent a letter recently to the Argus News Channel.

The Chief of the department steps up next to Cammie.

Chief: Now Mrs. Arc, that letter might have been a hoax.

The woman, now known to be Saphron Cotta-Arc was about to speak until the distraught mother beats her to it.

Distraught Mother: There was a human kidney in the letter! You call that a hoax? There is a butcher in this city. Preying on poor women, and you aren't even looking for him.
