RWBY X SAFF: Volume 10 Part 1, Welcome To Vacuo

As the sun begins to set over the Kingdom of Vacuo, our heroes stare out in awe as airships from every Kingdom, as well as Amity Colosseum, hover over the desert Kingdom.

Hannah Dust looks at Azure Aoi and notices that his Faunus gills are drooping.

Hannah: Hey, Azure, what's wrong?

Azure: Huh?

Azure knew that his girlfriend had already caught him and that he could not come up with a clever lie.

Azure: Oh, it's nothing. It's just that...Last time I saw the Colosseum, it was the night Beacon fell. Not exactly charming memories seeing it again.

Ivory Sanguise nudges Azure on the shoulder.

Ivory: It's a good thing that you can now make new memories for it.

Ivory gives both Azure and Hannah an uplifting smile.

Azure: (confidently) Yeah, you're right.

Ivory: Duh.

The scene cuts to Ivan Saxe, Sky Altair, Bleu Falls, and Fang Sanguise as they have gathered with Glynda Goodwitch, Valerie, and Kaitlyn in the Pylon's Huntsman planning room. The holographic projector on the center table lit up with a display of the city and the area around it.

Fang: Any luck with trying to communicate with them at all.

Kaitlyn: That's the problem. We've tried hailing them, but there was no answer.

V: (points at the airship station) It looks like they've set up camps all along the airstrip. This explains why the ships are still in the sky.

Bleu: But the Pylon can't stay in the sky like the others.

V: Rebecca said that we need to land the Pylon, eventually.

Sky: And the only space with a level ground was the airstrip.

Fang: (looks over at the river outside the city) Hey, how bout here?

Ivan: The river?

Fang: The sand is the softest in that area, and it's leveled.

Kaitlyn: But what about the citizens? It will be dark soon, and they'll want to be inside the city.

Fang: I don't mean to offend the people of Vale, but the people of Vacuo won't be too keen on letting in more refugees. They normally don't take kindly to outsiders.

Glynda: If I can just find Headmaster Theodore in Shade Academy, I'm sure he can convince them to let the people of Vale in.

Bleu: But if he can't help us, then what do we tell the people of Vale?

Mordecai: Allow me to handle that.

Ivan: (looks at Mordecai) Councilman Mordecai?

Mordecai: I can give you all at least one day's time to consult Headmaster Theodore and the Vacuan Council about the safety and security of Vale's people.

Bleu: That should give us enough time, at least.

Ivan: Agreed.

V: Alright, so we'll land the Pylon by the river, (looks to team SAFF) and have you all establish a means to have Vacuo provide for the citizens of Vale.

Kaitlyn: (looks at Professor Goodwitch) You should go too, Professor. You will need to talk to Headmaster Theodore and Professor Rumpole.

Glynda nods her head.

Fang: Alright, I'll get the Manta fired up. We'll head for the Airship Station. I know a guy that works there.

Ivan: Hoping he still does.
