The Bonds of Blood and Betrayal

Klaw: So brother, what's it gonna be?

Fang is frozen with fear as he tries to figure out what to do, but most of all, he is baffled by the fact that he has a daughter and is in the hands of Klaw. Fang's brother whom he survived the streets of Vacuo. The brother that followed him into whatever the world threw at them. The brother that felt betrayed when he left the White Fang.

Fang's breathing became erratic until...

Robin: (over comms) Fang, listen to me. do what he says until you get Ivory away from him.

Klaw: You still with me brother?

Fang: (takes a breath) Gimme a sec.

Fang presses his finger to his comlink and turns away from Klaw.

Fang: Mom, you know what will happen if we give him Ebony.

Robin: I know but we don't have any other choice. We have to get your daughter out of there. Trust me.

Fang: (sighs deeply) Sorry Ivan. (looks back to Klaw) Alright, you win. Just don't hurt her.

Klaw: She won't be harmed as long as you follow my demands.

Moments later, Draiona is seen walking out of the station with Ebony and her team behind her as she leads them to Fang.

Draiona: You sure about this?

Fang: No.

Klaw: Bring Ebony to me, and we'll exchange.

As Fang is about to get Ebony and as he starts walking, Draiona stops him. Fang looks at her.

Draiona: Let me do it.

Fang: No, this is for me to do.

Draiona: That girl will need her father if things go south. Let me do it. I promise that I will make sure she is safe before I go down.

Fang looks at Ivory and then back to Draiona and nods. Draiona grabs Ebony by her arm and jerks her forward. Fang keeps his hand close to Narcissus as Draiona stops in front of Klaw and Ivory.

Draiona: Let the girl go and I'll release your lackey.

Klaw: (smiles) Very well then.

As Klaw releases Ivory from his grasp, Draiona pushes Ebony away and Ivory hides behind Draiona.

Draiona: (to Klaw and Ebony) Try anything and I'll put you in the ground.

Draiona backs away slowly, keeping Ivory behind her, and rejoins Fang. There, standing before him, was his beautiful daughter. She looked so much like her mother, Sienna Khan, with the same fierce determination in her eyes and the same cat ears.

Fang: Ivory, I can't believe it's you. You look so much like your mother.

Ivory smiled, closing the distance between them. Fang wrapped his arms around her, holding her tight and feeling tears prick at the corners of his eyes.

Fang: I'm so sorry. If only I knew about you before-

Ivory pulled back and looked up at Fang, her own eyes glistening with tears.

Ivory: It's ok Dad. You didn't know. Mom told me a lot about you, and she told me that you would always be there to save me.

Fang's heart swelled with pride and love for his daughter. He knew he had missed so much of her life, but he was determined to make up for it now.

But first...

Fang looks to see Klaw and Ebony looking back at them.

Fang: Draiona, take Ivory and get back inside.
