Ivan's Demons

Ivan: It's been a long time, Mor'du Grey.

As Ivan stands guard in front of Bleu and Azure, the armored man now known as Mor'du gets up and pops his jaw before he smiles at Ivan.

Mor'du: Ivan Saxe. I gotta be honest, I hoped that you perished the last time we crossed paths.

Ivan: Sorry to disappoint.

Mor'du: I'm not disappointed, I'm glad. Because I will have the chance to beat you in fair combat.

Fang, Crimson, and Sky all regroup behind Ivan and next to Bleu and Azure with their weapons trained on Mor'du.

Ivan: Do you really want to do this here?

Mor'du: (deactivates his mace and hooks it to his back) Not yet. Until then, boy.

As Mor'du walks away Fang tries to pursue but is stopped by Ivan as he shakes his head. Ivan turns to face the others.

Ivan: I'm sorry for-

Ivan is cut off by Bleu wrapping her arms around him as she starts to cry.

Bleu: Don't you ever disappear like that again, okay?

Ivan looks at Bleu before looking at the others with concerned expressions. He returns the hug and pats her back.

Ivan: I promise.

As Bleu and Ivan break the hug, Azure stands up and immediately hugs Ivan. Ivan returns the hug while looking at Bleu's sad expression toward Azure. Ivan then notices everyone else staring at him.

Ivan: I guess I owe you all an explanation.

Later That Day

The light from Remnant's broken moon shines throughout the forest as Team SAFF, Crimson Vane, and Azure Aoi are seen gathered by a fire. Fang is seen checking his leg for any bruises and Bleu shakes her arm due to her still feeling twitchy from the shock round. Ivan grabs a stick and moves the wood around.

Ivan: (sighs) So, what do you want to know first?

Fang: Where have you been?

Ivan: I left to check on something from my past. When we were all on the landing pad at Beacon, I heard a scream from the tower, and then there was that... light. I have only seen that light once before.

Crimson: What do you know about it?

Ivan: You all saw what happened to that massive Grimm from Mountain Glenn. It was completely frozen on the tower. Have any of you heard of the ones called the Silver-Eyed Warriors?

Azure and team AFF look confused while Crimson speaks up.

Crimson: Silver-Eyed Warriors are an ancient lineage of legendary warriors who possess special abilities through the usage of their eyes. Their power destroys Grimm. And with most of the information on the Silver Eyes largely rooted in myths and legends, true accounts or knowledge of their powers are rather difficult to find. The most consistent traits among these stories are that the eyes themselves are special and the people who possess them are fighters of unprecedented prowess.

Azure: They can kill the Grimm with just a look? That's-

Fang: That's overpowering.

Bleu: If these people still exist, why aren't they helping us with the Grimm? Why aren't there any helping the huntsman and huntresses in Vale?

Ivan bows his head down.

Fang: There aren't many of them left, are there?

Ivan: Not many are left.
