Kai's phone rang around seven thirty in the morning, which made Amara groan loudly and attempt to hit Kai with a pillow, she failed as Kai caught the pillow with his hand without looking up from his laptop. That made Amara groan louder as she turned around and put the pillow over her head, muttering about calling this early in the morning.
Kai picked up his phone and leave the room, "Hello?" He asked into his phone.
His agent's voice came back to him, "Kai! Good morning!"
"Good morning!" He replied.
It was way too early in the morning for someone to be as happy as Kai and Apollo's shared agent to be this happy.
"Well, I have some good news for you! You remember that audition I got you for that show?"
"Yes I do."
"Ah good, well congratulations are in order, you got the job!"
"Oh... Wow... That's amazing!"
"Well, I can tell you are very excited, I'm going to let that sink in, goodbye Kai."
"B-bye!"
Kai was shocked. He didn't move from outside the door. He didn't know how on Earth the casting crew liked him.
Suddenly, the door opened behind him and Amara came out, muttering about something.
"I swear, once Apollo wakes up, we need to talk about moving into a bigger place..."
"Amara..." Kai started, making the older redhead look at him.
"What's up?"
"Remember that um- show- I auditioned for."
"Yeah?..."
"I got the part"
Amara immediately stopped making herself a coffee and went to hug Kai.
"Well done!"
"Thank you!"
"I knew you would get it! But really, when Apollo wakes up, we need to talk about moving. Not that I don't love you, but you're way too loud."
"I don't make a noise at night." Kai defended.
"Yes you do!"
"Whatever."

Two months later
Kai, Amara and Apollo were all sitting on the couch or on the floor.
"Okay, now that we all have more money, we really need to choose between these three flats because I am sick of waking up to Kai wide awake and having to lie for him." Amara explained to Apollo and Kai who was sitting beside Apollo's legs on the floor braiding some of the denim that lay there from Apollo's ripped jeans.
"Amara! You aren't supposed to mention that!" Kai yelped.
"I'm going to choose to ignore that for the moment. Amara, go on."
"Okay, look through this, and tell me which one you like best." She dropped a folder on Apollo's lap, making Kai yelp out in surprise as the loud noise hurt his ears, and let go of the braided piece of black denim.
Apollo opened the folder, "Aren't these the ones we looked at like two months ago?"
"Yeah?..."
"Well, I'll look at them when I get back." Kai said as he grabbed Apollo's hand and got up off the floor.
