Raven was awoken by soft kisses to her face, he groaned and pulled Max, her girlfriend, off of her. Max pulled Raven over to her.
Raven groaned again, rubbing the sleep from her eyes. "Max, go back to sleep. It's too early."
"It's one in the afternoon, little birdy." Max kissed the crown of Raven's head.
"Oh shit!" Raven snapped and ran out of bed, "Why didn't you wake me up?!"
"I tried, three times, you actually bit me." Max said.
"I did not!" Raven attempted, but quickly took it back when Max showed her the bite mark on her hand. "I'm so sorry!" She apologised over and over and threw herself onto her girlfriend, cuddling her. Raven ended up sobbing into the crook of Max's neck, apologising over and over.
Max just hugged Raven, running her hand through Raven's long black hair. "Why are you crying?"
Max sounded amused, which made Raven burrow her head further into his girlfriend's neck. "My period's about to start. Maybe that's why."
"Hm." Max acknowledged.

Raven's back was against Max's front, Max had an arm around Raven waist as they watched a film, Raven had stayed home with Max as her period had been terrible that morning. Every once in a while, Max pressed light kisses on Raven's shoulder when the younger girl would groan in pain from her intense cramps.
Raven quietly sobbed, which made Max confused, "What's wrong?"
"They just... They are perfect together, and they can't be together..." Max laughed at her teary girlfriend's rant.
"Why are laughing at me?..." Raven turned to look at her girlfriend, crying harder, "What's so funnyyyyy..."
Max wiped the tears from the black-haired girl's face, kissing her forehead, "You're just adorable, little birdy."
"I love when you call me that..." Raven whined loudly and hid her head in the ginger's neck.
"I know you do." Max replied and cuddled her girlfriend closer to her body.
"They're so cuteeee..." Raven whined again when her attention went back to the anime they were watching.
"I know, babe, I know."
