My claws unsheathed, snapping my teeth. I was just about to claw the she-wolf's face when Sarina grabbed me and pulled me back. "Wait!"

"Why?" I snapped, my eyes still on the redhead.

"You'll be seen, "Sarina hissed.

I faltered as I realized the parking lot wasn't quite empty yet. Luckily, it didn't look like anyone had noticed me lunge after Priscilla. "Then let's go somewhere private and finish this," I said furiously. Priscilla wasn't going to get away with threatening Hanna's life.

"Let Zev deal with her," Sarina said quietly. "You haven't learned how to fight yet, right? You're strong, but all of us have been training for years. She could hurt you. If you want, I'll challenge her to a fight."

"Really, Sarina?" Priscilla rolled her eyes.

"Yes," Sarina said in a firm voice.

I was breathing hard, still glaring at Priscilla. "You stay away from Hanna." I warned.

"What's going on?" Zev asked, walking quickly to join me. Rafe, Colt and Nash followed him.

"Your little girlfriend tried to attack me!" Priscilla complained. "If Sarina hadn't held her back, I would have torn her head off!"

Zev growled loudly and Priscilla's eyes widened as she took a wary step back.

"She threatened to kill Hanna," I said, my voice shaking in anger.

"The human shouldn't know our secret and it's only a matter of time before Liana blabs it to her," Priscilla protested. "Only certain humans are allowed to know and -" She broke off and winced as Zev growled even more loudly.

To my surprise, Rafe also emitted a growl and stared daggers at Priscilla.

"It's not up to you, Priscilla," Zev said in a low, dangerous voice. "I'm handling it. You stay away from Hanna. And if you ever threaten to hurt my mate again..."

"But she -"

"Shut up for once in your life, Priscilla," Colt suggested with a shake of his head. "Let's go take a ride so you can calm down." He led Priscilla to his car.

After they had left, I whirled around on Zev. "I want you to train me to fight."

"Liana-"

"I mean it. I need to know how. The rest of you do," I put my hands on my hips. "If you don't want to then one of the others can. I need to know how to defend myself don't I? And if I need to fight someone -"

"No way. You're not fighting anyone," Zev rumbled.

"If I need to fight someone," I continued, narrowing my eyes. "Don't you want me to know what I'm doing?"

Zev sighed. "If this is about Priscilla -"

"It's not just her," I interrupted. Although I wouldn't mind being able to hold my own against the irritating she-wolf. "I don't want to feel helpless, Zev. I don't want to be helpless. Not anymore."

Zev looked at me for a moment before slowly nodding. "All right, I'll train you. It's a lot of work," He warned. "I'll be training you how to fight in both human and wolf forms."

"So you will?" I was surprised. I hadn't thought he would give in so soon. I pouted a little. "I thought I would have to convince you." I whined.

Zev slowly grinned. "Yeah? Hmm, well, I'm not totally sold on the idea of training you so you may have to convince me it is a good idea."

I giggled and stepped closer to him, going on tiptoes to press my lips to his. "I can convince you."

"You'll have totry really hard," Zev grinned before pulling me into an embrace and kissing me deeply.
