*Priscilla*
"What is a member of the Moonshadow Pack doing in my territory?" Raulf asked, tilting his head as he stared at me.
I smiled. "I heard an interesting story about you."
"Oh?" Raulf asked in a slightly bored voice.
"Yes. About you and someone named Lyndra," I gave a triumphant grin as his eyes brightened with interest. "Did you know her daughter is here?"
"What?" Raulf snapped. "Lyndra and her human husband are here?"
"No, they're dead," I said bluntly.
Raulf glanced away. "I didn't know that." He muttered.
"Her daughter is here, a senior at my school. Your son has already taken notice of her," I said. "Her name is Liana."
"Phelan!" Raulf yelled.
Phelan sauntered over, looking at me suspiciously. "What is she doing here?" He grumbled.
"Bringing me some interesting news," Raulf said. "About a new girl in town."
"Ah, Hunter's little pet," Phelan chuckled. "She's hot. Human though."
"She's not," I said. "She's a wolf."
"I think I would have scented that at the club," Phelan glared.
"It's a long story but her wolf was being subdued," I informed him. "She and Zev are claiming to be mates," I added distastefully.
Phelan's face darkened. "He gets everything! She should have to get to know other males before deciding on a mate. It's only fair."
"They're true mates," I said in a mocking voice. "Experienced being Moonstruck and everything."
Phelan rolled his eyes. "Oh please, true mates is a myth." He scoffed.
"You can't let this go, Phelan," Raulf said slowly. "You should make her yours. Convince her. Before they complete the mating bond and then it will be too late."
"I could convince her if I could get her away from Hunter," Phelan said slowly.
Raulf smiled slowly. "Make it happen, Son. You'll be making things right."
"What things?" Phelan asked in confusion.
"Never mind," Raulf gave me a warning look that clearly said to keep quiet before focusing back on his son. "Don't let Hunter get something you want. Not without a fight, at least. He probably told her they were true mates so that she thinks she doesn't have a choice in the matter." He sauntered away, a smug look on his face.
Phelan nodded. "He's right. I'll do it."
"I can help you," I offered sweetly.
"Why would you?" Phelan looked at me suspiciously.
I shrugged. "You want a chance with Liana and I want one with Zev. We can help each other. I may have an idea but I need a little time. I'll be in touch." I started to turn away.
"Wait, what idea?" Phelan asked suspiciously.
I sighed and turned back. "The reason Liana didn't know she was a wolf was that she wore a necklace that subdued it. When she finally took the necklace off, her wolf was free."
"I've never heard of a necklace that could do this," Phelan said with a frown.
"It's rare or something," I said dismissively. "Anyway, If you can get her to wear that necklace again, her wolf will be subdued and then it will be easier for you to take her away, she won't be able to fight you," I said eagerly.
