*Zev*

I arrived home after taking Liana home, feeling relieved that she finally knew the truth about me and had taken it so well. She really is amazing, I thought. The way she found out though....my heart lurched when I remembered the danger she had been in. If I hadn't arrived there in time...

"Zev?" Konrad peeked into the living room. "There you are. You rushed out of the house so fast."

I flopped onto the sofa. "Liana had texted me, she went to the woods to do some sketching. I told her to wait for me but she didn't." Anger filled me again when I remembered Phelan looking like he was about to attack her.

"Is she all right?"

"Yeah but barely. Dad, Phelan was corning her," I sat up. "He was in our territory of the woods. He was in his wolf form and looked like he was about to attack."

Konrad's face darkened. "He was there? What happened?"

"I defended my mate," I said stiffly.

"You fought him," Konrad concluded. "In your wolf form. In front of Liana." He sighed.

"You knew I was going to tell her," I said with a shrug.

Konrad ran a hand over his face. "Yes son, but having her see it without being prepared for it must have been a very frightening experience for her."

"She was shaken," I admitted. "But she took it well and promised not to tell anyone. I'm going to take her to Brent's house to see Lorelei afterschool tomorrow. She gets dizzy and bruises really easily. She says it's just the way she is but I want her looked at anyway."

Konrad nodded. "I don't blame you. I'll be there as well." He grinned when I looked questioningly at him. "I want to meet her." He explained.

"Just you, right? I don't want to overload her with too much too soon," I hoped Liana wouldn't be too overwhelmed. This was a lot for her take in and I didn't want her to get freaked out and run away from me. Not that I'd let her get away, I thought. I'd chase her forever if I had to.

"Just me," Konrad assured him. "I want her to feel safe but I have to admit, I'm curious about this girl who has you acting so Moonstruck."

"She's wonderful, Dad," I said with a smile. "I know you'll love her too."

The next day, I drove Liana to school, something I would now insist on doing each day. It gave me more time to spend with her. After seeing Liana to her locker, I went to find my friends. They should know that Liana knew about us and was fine about it, that they didn't have to be so careful around her. I wanted Liana to get to know my packmates better, pack was family and I wanted the woman I loved to feel comfortable around them. To me and my wolf, she was pack now. She was mine.

"Hey Zev," Rafe said as he got closer. "Where is the lovely Liana?" He teased. "She sick of you yet? Can I ask her out?"

"Funny, I wouldn't think you would want me to rip your throat out but apparently you do," I narrowed my eyes.

"I'm just kidding, although she is lovely," Rafe grinned.

"She's at her locker waiting for her friend Hanna," I leaned against the wall. "Listen, I need to tell you guys something."

"What is it?" Sarina asked.

"Liana knows about us," I said bluntly.

Rafe blinked ."Already?"

"Did she run screaming?"

"Can we trust her?"

"Yes, I trust Liana completely. I hadn't planned to tell her yet but something happened last evening that made it known. And no, she didn't run screaming. She handled it very well." I said.
